Make naps in the open (bright, loud, no swaddle) so that your baby is exposed to more light in the day and so that they don't sleep for too long. ⠀ If their naps are approaching 2 hours, wake them up. Too much daytime sleep can lead to more awake time at night.
Newborns need a lot of sleep - about 14 to 18 hours a day. It's normal for newborns to sleep almost constantly in the early weeks, waking only long enough to eat and then fall back asleep. All that rest plays a critical role in their rapid growth and development. But if you're worried your baby may be sleeping too much, talk to your pediatrician.

make sure maybelle gets lots of sleep and if you have to let the mother inlaw or someone very close look after macey for the day and give maybelle a break.she will need it.maybelle is still recovering.

Your little one is sleeping in the chatter and noise. She is waking up when it all goes quiet. Best tip I ever got from a midwife was to leave a radio playing softly in the babies bedroom at night. Worked like a charm for both my kids. Wishin you all the best! x

Congratulations guys, it won’t be easy but it’s so much fun being a parent and rewarding watching these children grow. I like you became a dad later in life, I’m 51 now and have a 9yr and a 3yr old and wouldn’t change it for the world. I hope you’re wrong with that road and more development, that’s part of the reason I stopped going to Phuket it’s already overdeveloped and loosing the natural beauty and charm it once had.

This is all learned behaviour and will take some time. If you baby is up all night and asleep all day, or waking up frequently or early, try to remember that this is all completely normal. Their sleeping patterns will evolve as they grow and develop.

What A CUTE DARLING !!! To try and get baby and yourselves some sleep ..... Put a TICKING CLOCK in the crib or cot next to the baby and the ticking mimics the mother's heartbeat which the baby has been used to for the months in mother's tummy. This worked with my three ....... GOOD LUCK and God bless. 👍🙏♥️
