It took me 20 YEARS to learn this ART STYLE

  • As a child, I watched a lot of cartoons, but there is one that I credit as the reason I became an artist. Samurai Jack. I watched on Cartoon Network and sometimes, during the break, they showed the making of, which I liked more than the cartoon. Today I'm going to tell you my story through images and even a song that I composed and played for you.
I looked for the original tutorials and believe me - they are on RUclips. So I learned how to make backgrounds and here in this video, I will show you my art process in real-time, with all the challenge that comes with choosing traditional art, where there is no ctrl+z. Some things went wrong, of course, but I moved forward anyway. Using a brush and acrylic paint, I replicated what Scott Willis thought in his tutorials. I created the mask, which in digital art is very simple, but in traditional, it has a degree of difficulty that surprised me, challenging my artistic skills. I created the other side of the background scenery as if it continued. Acrylic paint dries very quickly, so sometimes a mistake can be almost permanent. I finished it with ink, which was a relief because I'm used to working with it. The process was even relaxing, especially in my favorite part, which is removing the tape. I put the final touches on digital and show you the final result. After this first experience, I made another acrylic painting, which made me think about my childhood memories. I'm not sure how, but I feel like I changed after this experience.
    I hope you enjoy it!

Your channel provides me with so much inspiration. I am currently pursuing textile designing and the reason I chose this field because it merges fine arts and design also, the fact that it incorporates inorganic chemistry, (my fav subject back in high school) . I love seeing artists exploring and learning through their experience, so it's quite refreshing to see artists messing up yet creating masterpieces out of it. Thank you so much for uploading this video. Never stop creating !
