I need to get this. I can’t exactly drill holes into the walls where I’m now living. This is a game changer for a lot of people who are living in rented accomodation.
Looks good, although a bit pricey. Would you recommend this or a good stand? Would you say its quieter or louder than a board on a stand? Also, how far is it from the wall to the feet when its up? Cheers
Ive not used a stand bud, but hopefully will be reviewing one in the coming months, the sound will depend on what type of wall the board is against and also what board you use, i have been using it at weekends since i reviewed it, and i love it.
Did you get a Vertex? If you did, which out of it and the Xtreme did you prefer? Also, with those two stands, can you rotate the board with either of them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi mate, thanks for the review. I'm looking at one of these to replace the crappy tripod. I'm limited on space due to the layout of rooms. Could you tell me the measurement between the 2 feet of the stand please? Cheers
Well done. great to see this product in action. I want to use it for teaching at schools. Are the legs in the way when retrieving the darts? it looks like you have to walk straight back at the oche.
Excellent review Kevin. Really interested in this as it would be perfect for taking away with me on certain jobs. Just need to know how heavy it is out the box, if you know? This definitely looks pretty decent 👍🏻🎯
It has a fair weight to it bud, i have a dartboard in with it, i would say about 15-20kg. It has a shoulder strap so easy to carry, but may be expensive for luggage. Would be cheaper buying a cheap dartboard at other end and just taking the stand
Which is better, the Winmau Xtreme stand, or the Vertex? Can you rotate the board with either of them? I'm not sure, but it looks like you can't rotate the board with the Xtreme.
@@TheScottishCowboy Thanks for the quick reply. It seems there are pros and cons to all the dartboard stands. Most people seem to be happier with the Winmau Xtreme, but I don't want to get a a board such as a top quality Blade 6, but then not be able to rotate the board.
@@TheScottishCowboy do you think they’re worth the price? I bought them for £100 and I’m undecided do I throw them or return and get another set dunno if they’re worth the moneyb
@bturner3575 ive never had them in my hands mate, so i cant say. Most of the costs of darts comes from the time it takes to manufacture. If your undecided, i would say return them
And how exactly is that supposed to stay up on the wall 😅 My main concern with this product, is I can see it sliding down the wall or the door and then just falling. It's rather on the expensive side for over 100 pounds aswell
I need to get this. I can’t exactly drill holes into the walls where I’m now living. This is a game changer for a lot of people who are living in rented accomodation.
Agree mate
Aye but even with the surround, there would still be holes in my wall, have you seen me play, you don't want to take it from me.
I just drill the hole then fill it and paint over it when i leave
Or get the extreme stand it's way better
you can Drill one hole and de copple it
You're like if Gary Anderson and Stephen Bunting had a love child. Subbed.
I wouldnt complain tbh
Great review - looks like a superb product.
Awesome product - would be perfect for an impromptu sesh with the fellas. Keep rockin’
Thank you! This is what I Wanted to see since I saw the Vertex stand announces. Think I might have to go and get one now!

The board is height adjustable by screws on the feet, so you get it to regulation height
Excellent review, I only just found out about this product and your video was published a few minutes before!
Its an absolutely amazing product bud, has made playing in other rooms so much easier, even the mrs joined in
This is awesome, if it was 50% cheaper I would get one as a portable dart board but I’m not paying 100 for it..
Good vid mate. I'm very keen on getting one of these. Will it work just as well with a non-Winmau board in terms of fixing and locking into position?
Yes mate, i have used my aspar board on it
Hey Buddy, could you please tell me which Oche you use. Looks quite interesting because it seems to be like a Trifold
www.ockeysrus.com/
the carton board around the dartboard is this hard and thick enough to not puncture the wall if you hit a dart in it? Great review!
No, its thin and dart does go through it
Would it hold up against a plasterboard wall? Currently have a winmau extreme stand that i cant get replacement fixings for, even from Winmau!
Yes, would be fine on any wall as long as it is flat
Did you get a Vertex? If you did, which out of it and the Xtreme did you prefer? Also, with those two stands, can you rotate the board with either of them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi kevin
Trying to get darts into my pub. What dartboard and accesorries would you reccomend electronic or normal thanks for your help.
There are lots of good dartboards bud, all depends on your budget, defo need a board, a good light and a oche or toe line
Hi mate, thanks for the review. I'm looking at one of these to replace the crappy tripod. I'm limited on space due to the layout of rooms. Could you tell me the measurement between the 2 feet of the stand please? Cheers
Its not set-up just now bud, but will measure it as soon as its back up. I would say its less than 3 ft
@@TheScottishCowboy That should be spot on mate. It's hard to gauge these things by video.
Appreciate the reply bud 👍
Well done. great to see this product in action. I want to use it for teaching at schools. Are the legs in the way when retrieving the darts? it looks like you have to walk straight back at the oche.
No bud, i have not at any time kicked the legs
Nice set up and great music.
Great review. Can you fit the board in the bag also
Yes bud all fits in easily.
Can i ask whether the surround is decent enough to stop the darts going through? It looks quite flimsy and i still miss the board sometimes! Thanks
Darts definitely go through
Thanks for the quick reply! Probably rules it out for me then at this stage as live in rented place. Otherwise looks like a great product.

Can u install any regular dartboard?
Yes works with any regulation dartboard
Can you put your own surround behind it? Or can you only put that thin thing from winmau self behind it?
I have not tried to put a surround behind it, but the winmau vertex one is non slip, so it does not slide
Hi great review. Will be buying one. What programme did you have on your laptop when you played against your self?
It was Dart Counter mate, and i played an online game, but you can also play against the computer
I wish they had this years ago
Me too buddy.
Where'd you buy this from, seems to be out of stock everywhere
I got mine from RedDragon site mate.
What a carry on
Which is better, the Winmau Xtreme stand, or the Vertex? Can you rotate the board with either of them? I'm not sure, but it looks like you can't rotate the board with the Xtreme.
You can definitely rotate on the Vertex, as ive never had the extreme, i cant say what is better, the Vertex is brilliant tho

What online game site do you use. Sounds like a good ine
That is Dart Counter mate
Is this compatible with other dart board surrounds? I see that it comes with it's own but I have a few nice ones I like to use
I never tried , but i think the sockets for the poles would interfere
Hey pal whats that app you use on the laptop to play against otehr players
Dart counter bud
How loud would this be for the neighbours in a hotel? Would this even be allowed there?
I would put it against a door in the hotel if possible.
Excellent review mate, what’s the noise like when dart hits the board? See you remember the hat in second leg lol.
Will all depend what board, was surprisingly quiet, mrs was watching tv and never said anything.
Do you know if its compatible with Winmaus new Wispa system?
Waiting an an answer bud
Its sadly not compatible with the new Wispa system.
Does it wobble a lot or not? My mate played on one and he said it wobbled a lot.
@Arian-k3j does not move mate, your mate must have played on something different, it will only wobble if the wall wobbles
@@TheScottishCowboy alright thanks a lot, and yes he was talking about the other more common stands that wobble without the wall support.
Do the Peter wright diamond fusion se darts review?
Will put them on my order list bud

Can a dartboard surround be use with the vertex Winmau stand?
Unfortunately not , hopefully winmau release one
Would it work with a grand board
No idea bud, never used a grand board, but if it uses the same wall bracket as a standard board , then it probably would
Does that surround light come with it?
No bud, thats the target corona vision light
What softest is that you’re using?
Software****
Dart Counter

What is the width between the two poles? Looks very far apart
Bud they are quite flexible
Hi do you know how I stop my board from shaking after I’ve thrown
Are you using this Vertex?
@@TheScottishCowboy hi yes I am
Can a surround be used with this?
Unfortunately not, because of the brackets for the poles
And how exactly is that supposed to stay up on the wall 😅
My main concern with this product, is I can see it sliding down the wall or the door and then just falling.
It's rather on the expensive side for over 100 pounds aswell
That is why i wanted to review it, i could not understand why it would not move, but as you see in the video, no movement at all.
its not that difficult to engineer just drill the hole though and fill it when you leave its hardly a biggie
@gregprocter765 I just made my own stand off the workbench like as the blade fell off the wall and took half the masonry with it
I would trip on the legs
Its not flat against the wall bud, it must be sitting at an angle, the back plate must be completely flat against the wall
On door mmm some one comes in smash lot wrecked
Only if they are in that cupboard 🤣
i take it you cant use it on carpet.
Yes mate, works fine on carpet
This might be my answer lol
poor door xD
My top poles won’t screw in
Mine were tough to start with, need to use lots of pressure when turning
And then take it all down to go for a pee
Only if i pee in that cupboard
Looks ok but not better than a regular stand.
All that extra shit on and around the dart board looks distracting af
I never even noticed the poles sticking out while playing, my son popped over for a visit and he had no issue either
Inferior product and blatant rip off of the lean2pro system
Ive not used that one tbf, but really like this one
I would hope it's inferior as it's half the price of the lean 2 pro
@@golfboy7438 the lean 2 pro is $20 aud more than this what are you on about lol
