  • This is not to dissuade you from buying Starfield but to give a friendly warning against buying day 1 and preordering the game. I go over my thoughts in the video.

Playing it and enjoying. The UI could maybe be better but you get used to it pretty fast. My worst complaint is on world maps suck and more specifically there is no actual city map for the major cities. So you kind of have to remember the layout which in a futuristic sci-fi game not having a good map of at least the cities doesn't make sense.
Outside of that, I've had no problems.

Damn color me impressed. The fact that there are minimal bugs. Thats def a good turn for bethesda games. I hope my experience turns out just like urs.

Been playing it since lastnight and its a great game. I don't think it is a 10 out of 10 but still great. Runs great on PC Ultra Settings at 1440p. This game is not as buggy as previous games but it does not mean I haven't run into some. The game is not perfect and it is a very overhyped. But I have not been disappointed. But I can tell you that some people are going to be as they have some high expectations for it.

Yeah as long as it runs great and its fun to play thats all that matters no 10 out of 10 needed.

I'm really excited for it. The overhype is killing the game if anything. But I'm not expecting anything groundbreaking though. I not going pre order either.

Look, I see what you're saying but I have to disagree. While yes, things like 2077 and Baulders Gate 3 do exist, I belive they are extreme ends of the spectrum. Expecting every game to be perfect is an almost impossible ask from even the most competent developers. I belive that if a game is buggy, it's a bad game but that doesn't completely ruin a company because then no one should be trusted in this space as everyone has made a bad game at some point or another, objectively speaking, of course. I agree that people need to learn to temper their expectations, but in that same vain, you also need to have some hope that a game will be decent at least. Wanting everything to be perfect, you'll always be disappointed. 2077 could have been a 9/10 and people still would have been upset it wasn't perfect. It's kind of impossible in the landscape now to change anything without someone outside the landscape to do something.
