There is one that is actually really local to me in Somerset, where the car brakes down boyfriend goes to get petrol leaves the girlfriend in the car, woman falls asleep or is listening to the radio, hears a guy has
Escaped a mental asylum and is on the loose across the flats, (Picture the scene) its pouring with rain, The only light is that of the moon and this now petrified lady hears a THUD on top of the car, she buries herself into the seat keeping as quiet as possible, she proceeds to hear Noring sound that similar to rat chewing on wood for as long as 30 minutes.
Around half an hour later the inside of the car is illuminated with blue lights as 2 police cars pull up and order this man to ‘ put the head down ‘ and shots rung out across the land, causing animals to go crazy.
Then an eerie silence...
Thud** as a body crashes to the ground from on top of the car.
This now screaming woman is ordered to get out of the car, two police officers waiting by the door to drag her away, ‘don’t look back love’
(She’s does) The body of a boyfriend is on top of the car with an half eaten head and another body near the car slumped on the floor, lifeless, full out gun shots.
The headless nutter was Finlay dead,
Which if you google there are no real articles which is weird, either way she sees the police in the mirror and they tell her not to look back and the ‘ headless nutter ‘ had got the boyfriend on too of the car and started to eat him.
Or something like that and there are many variations of this exact same story all over.
Best told driving down the old twisting winding roads running deep through countryside, through the hollows and over the hills in the rain at night.
Best hope the car doesn’t stop

"our car is broken down. i think the engine is broken, ill walk and get some more fuel." "ok. ill stay here and look after our stereo. there have been news report of steres being stolen." "good idea. keep the doors locked no matter what. i love you sweaty"
so the guy left to get full for the car. after two hours the girl say "where is my baby, he was supposed to be back by now". then the girl here a scratching sound and a voice say "LET ME IN"
the girl doesn't do it and then after a while she goes to sleep. the next morning she wakes up and finds her boyfriend still not there. she gets out to check and man door hand hook car door.

I know these are urban legends but i wish they did some further research. I mean various of the zodiac killer murders were couples at make out spots. Same with the girlfriend seeing her boyfriend murdered. Same happened with the backseat driver one with an actual famous murder like that
