Surprisingly, the only real single this album produced and the only song that still gets some love live. Wish they'd break more deepcuts off this album live and Kill The Flaw too especially. They totally neglected Kill The Flaw live, it's not even funny. My only critique of this band is that they don't switch up their setlists enough. So many songs they've never played live and so many that should be broken out again like Suffocate. That was a great live song but hasn't made it in a setlist in about 10 years. Those 3 Sonny Mayo era albums too are basically totally ignored aside from Pieces and they dusted off Ugly again recently. Even Driven has been absent lately and that used to be a staple in the setlist. That's the only thing I wish they'd do better, that's it.
@jafnisa I'd say the same thing. Those 3 albums really get snubbed which is strange because Clint has even said he likes those albums and doesn't mind playing them but yet the setlists ever since he's re-joined says otherwise. Pieces is the only song they still play with regularity. The new albums too. They'll break out 3-4 new songs for the tour after it comes out which is great but then only 1 becomes a staple in the setlist after (CDM - Splinter, BOTS - Decay, KTF - Thank You, AISIW - Dirty). They're at the point in their careers where they don't have to play Praise, Denial, Face To Face, or Bitch like they have been for years every night, they can swap those out for other great songs from their discography that they rarely, if ever, play live. Most will not complain because they didn't hear Denial live for the 100th time. The real fans want to hear the other songs too and we don't want to wait until the anniversary tour to hear them. I'm not saying they need to pull a Pearl Jam and play a completely different set every night but they definitely need a better rotation of songs. They broke out Dead Set this most recent run which was awesome but they can do better than 1 surprising addition to the setlist each tour. They can do a lot better than that.
i agree, the same thing with Drowning Pool, they got great songs, riffs on all their albums, but they never played them live

Ima just say this. If u are a guitar player lesrning and have some things down and can pick up fast.. this type of video is amazing for learning a song count the frets to his finger tgen go from there. Gonna learn this tonight 🤟

He most certainly did. There's a great sit-down walkthrough on RUclips by Clint and John of Decay. I suggest watching Clint and John's video after you watch @MysticGuitar77 shred and then come back here again to watch how well he did. Here's two quick things he covered both of:
Chorus 1 he is playing Clint's part and Chorus 2&3 he is playing John's rhythm
The solo riff(s) are trade offs from John the first half to Clint the second half. Two different styles and a pickup note between them that @MysticGuitar77 nailed.

You are correct lol. The only thing, John does the lead in the chorus and Clint plays rhythm for this song so I'm actually playing John's part in the 1st chorus and Clint's for the 2nd and 3rd. Usually it's the opposite but I second the notion to check out the playthrough they did for this song. That's how I learned it myself. ;)
I guess that Life Deceives You (me) sometimes..It had been well over a year since I had watched Clint and John's walk through so I had to go back and you are completely correct lol...this song is not like most 7D songs where Clint is "lead" and John plays backing. Very interesting.

I have a question about your guitar : is it a Barritone version ?
If it's not, what kind of string gauge do you use to down the tuning as much as that ?

It's not a baritone, it has a standard 25.5" scale. I generally use 12-56 for Drop B and then 13-59 for Drop A# and Drop A. Those are the only tunings I really use on this particular guitar.

Kinda lol. There's some parts where I did do both, others where I only did 1 guitar.
