- Welcome back, everyone! It has been a little while since we posted about this beautiful jet, but I am glad that I was able to knock the dust off of it and get her back in the air! I spent most of the morning modding this to fit a 6000 mah battery. I forgot how fun it is to fly this high alpha beast! I plan to put some more videos up in the late evening with the afterburner and lights presenting here this week. Please click the subscribe if you have not and smash that like button as well! Love my Rafale, modded it so the lipos can go back further like yours, now fly it with 4000mah & 5200mah lipos might try 6000’s soon now that I’ve seen this.

Is the 5000 pack recommended? Seems it would have more punch, little lighter. Nice jet. I got a 90 mm Mirage and fly it without landing gear, it screams!

Anyone with this plane:
Stock, using 6ch & the mixing board, with UP elevator, my canard goes up (upwards as in front up). Is this correct? In my head, it looks backwards?

The front of the canards should point up. Looks backwards but that’s how it is. This thing can take some crazy tight turns!

Im ordering a 10 channel reciever so I can do all my mixing myself, & omit that crazy mixing board. Id guess it would be great for 'just flying ', but i cant do it that way😜🤪!👍
@@old-rcplane-phart I love mine with a gyro! It’s always windy where I live at also. Enjoy your flights! 🔥💨 Also, if you don’t want it to jump in the air on take off, use half flaps or half crow and she’s goes up in the air scale like. Cheers

Thank u again for expert advice! I fly on a semi-unmanicured grass field. (Parks & recreation field). WE try to keep our area mowed as low as the push mower goes. BUT, almost every video i seen shows tall grass isn't a problem with THIS 1!👍 Our landing strip is as long as the gravel driveway of about 100 ft. Great for STOL! Guess ill maiden it next Saturday. Hopefully by then the intimidation is gone! LoL!
