@@idontgivetkachuk 1. Locker room issues can be a factor for signings or tradings. Look at the Evander Kane "locker room cancer" issue right now. Ignoring this, I could see you saying something along the lines of "Kane is a legit 30-goal scorer, but yet 31 other teams passed on him, making him the biggest GM blunder of the 2021-22 season" when in fact he's worthless. 2. What caused my comment was the fact that your speech came off as professional reporting. You sounded like you know what you're talking about, and you sounded trustworthy. But I know that you're omitting a lot of important information, thus becoming misleading journalism. That's why I had to point that out to other people. If you sounded like Gilbert Godfried, I wouldn't have said anything. 3. Fact of the matter is, contract status, impending free agency, and salary cap are some of the most important factors that determine the trade value of a given player. For example, the fact that both Jeff Carter and Jacob Voracek with RFAs when the trade happened was an important factor, as their new salary cap hits were undetermined at that time. Voracek ended up signing for just one year, meaning that, at that time, the Flyers had no idea that they wouldn't lose him after that season.

That Erat for Forsberg hurt.
How about the Feb 26 2016 trade between Habs and Blackhawks were Chicago sent Danault and a second to Montreal for Dale Weise and Tomas Fleischmann. Oh by the way the 2nd round pick ended up being Alexander Romanov.
Lol yeah Buffalo really doesn't know how to keep assets. Look at the eichel case going on now.
If you haven't already do a video on most surprising players of 2020 2021 seasson
Hey I know Charlie Coyle! He's on the Bruins!
surprised that the Trocheck trade isnt in here.
Yandle -> flyers. Absolutely crippled the flyers this season
Old video but idc should’ve talked more about mike Richards he play a hefty role in the kings winning as well
I know it's only the last decade ⁹ but you should talk about toronto trading tooka rask and keeping shifty goalie
Nice to hear ur voice again idgt
Thanks Thomas! 😂😂
Awesome vid 👏🏻
Thanks sm!!
FYI, Richards and Carter didn't want out of Philly, they loved it here and were really pissed they were traded and separated as they became great friends coming through the system. The issue was they were partying too much, photos were making it around local newspapers and the management/coaches couldn't get them to chill out. Holmgren also wanted Bryzgalov and to free up the cap space he traded both Richards and Carter an hour or so before signing Bryz to that redonkulous contract.
Yea imagine if that trade doesn't happen. You keep them you don't sign Bryzgalov and you still have Bobrovsky. The guy who later became a 2 time vezina winner.
Zibanejad and a second for Bressard and a seventh
Not only did the flyers get Jake and coots, they got that 3rd rounder which was nick cousins. He was flipped for a 5th rounder where Wyatte Wylie was selected who looks promising and has a bad ass name.
Feel bad for Columbus fans though.
So now that Weber is officially/unofficially retired i wonder how this trade will look? No doubt Weber was still the better pick but PK is still playing, and other than a drop off of offensive skill is still a valuable defensemen. His off ice tangibles have to be factored in as well. Sad to see Weber go. Another tank goes down.
Subban is playing like a 3rd pair. I'd say each team won the trade because both Nashville & Montreal went to the finals and lost. However post trade, Weber was a much better player. Weber was a better defenseman for his entire career including the year Subban won the Norris. So from that perspective, Montreal def did not lose
@@christophersuchy3632 your right of course. Subban just doesn’t seem to have it anymore. I gave him the benefit of the doubt in the hope he might rebound this season but alas he seems to be further regressing.
@@muchopreguntas He was never a high "IQ" player. It was always athleticism and a nasty edge that carried him. Sure he was good but I think his injuries have take their toll. I just don't think he can play fast enough anymore & he doesn't have the IQ to make up the difference. At least from what I see
Im convinced that Chiarelli just came to Edmonton to sabotage the team. He did so much damage and Im very glad the Subban trade didnt happen
If Edmonton wanted a shutdown, why would they go for a turnover beast in subban? Chiarelli logic.
Good grief I am glad Chiarelli did not hang around long enough to completely destroy the Oilers, he did however give one final FU by signing Koskonen before he was canned
As a Preds fan, thank you Washington. Also I miss Shea Weber but I'm not sad we don't have to pay that contract.
I can say the same as mtl fan haha
Trouba - Pionk trade was awful for the rangers
Filip Forsberg scored 4 tonight for the record
Good job on ringless
Thanks Micheal!
@@idontgivetkachuk no problem u and everyone else worked hard on it it was great
I hate the Forsberg trade but the only upside is we would eventually get Tj Oshie but it’s still awful
Another nice video🔥
Thanks sm Charles!!
Raycroft for Rask was the worst trade I've ever seen.
That’s PC logic
Came here hoping to see *the trade*, was not disappointed.
😎 I gotchu
like a true legend
As an oilers fan I already know PTSD is coming into play rn
I like how you never mentioned once about any contract status, impending free agency, and salary cap issues for any of the trades mentioned.
While I’m at it I’ll also talk about what the locker room was like, any personal issues resulting in the trade, what they are for breakfast and what shoes they wore that night… Give me a break man. These are made for fun. And most ppl will know most of that information…
