Solt Ottilia (1944-1997) szociológus, országgyűlési képviselő. Az 1970-es években a magyarországi társadalom legszegényebb rétegeit kezdte vizsgálni. 1979-ben létrehozta a Szegényeket Támogató Alapot (SZETA), amely a szocializmusban hivatalosan nem létező szegény rétegeket próbálta integrálni a társadalomba. A Beszélő nevű szamizdat újság egyik szerkesztője volt. Az SZDSZ alapító tagja, ugyanakkor a párt fő irányvonalától 1993-ra eltávolodik, nem indul újra képviselőnek. 1993-ban férjét és fiát is elveszti. Élete utolsó éveiben a Wesley János Lelkészképző Főiskola szociális munkás szak megszervezője, oktatója.
Beszédében a belügyminisztert és a legfőbb ügyészt kéri számon az 1989-es év óta történt három, halálos kimenetelű rendőri intézkedés miatt. A rendőrség az autoriter rendszerből hozott rossz reflexeket, ezek megváltoztatása, a demokratikus rendőrség kiépítése hosszabb időt vett igénybe.

He was one of the editors of the samizdat newspaper called Beszélő. A founding member of the SZDSZ, at the same time he deviated from the main line of the party in 1993 and did not run for parliament again. In 1993, she lost her husband and son. In the last years of his life, he was the organizer and instructor of the social work program at the John Wesley Pastoral Training College.
In his speech, he calls the Minister of the Interior and the Chief Prosecutor to account for the three fatal police actions that have taken place since 1989. The police brought bad reflexes from the authoritarian system, changing them and building a democratic police took longer time after 1989.
