Hi lovely friends. If you're interested in adding colour into your wardrobe, this video is for you! We'd love to hear from you. Lots of love. Deirdre. XX
Oh my! I LOVE all those beautiful colors! Even at my “advanced” age of 73 ( Ha!) I still love color! Th off white wide leg pants with white blouse and light blue jacket with those absolute GORGEOUS light blue shoes is sooo stunning! Thank you for another great video! Always look forward to your videos!!!
Everything you style is so neutral….i really appreciated your advice. I am a “color fiend” as you say (I’m from the US), but still learned something! I loved the idea of the animal print with the bold color on the bottom!
I so agree, I think black just kills any color it’s next to. I prefer colors mixed with light neutrals, too. We always get great styling advice from you, Deirdre!🙂
Hi Kimberly. I noticed you wrote a comment and I can't find it now, (sorry) about how you are having problems with my US links. I will contact my cousin's wife, who lives in California and see if she can test them. Could you tell me which links in particular you are having problems with please? Thank you so much. XX
I love color and usually stick to deep, saturated colors instead of pastels. I guess that's because that's what looks best on me. I have high contrast coloring ( dark salt and pepper hair and lighter skin). It's amazing how some colors can really perk up your mood.
I love color, I have always loved it! But, as I am becoming more mature, I moved away from florals or large patterns, and prefer solid colors. When I wear a certain shade of blue top, I always get compliments, so I know that is a great color for my complexion, hair color, eye color, etc. Color also puts me in a good mood, esp. in the middle of the winter. Thanks for a great video!
Great video, at 63, I'm starting to find strong colours harder to wear and starting to favour softer pinks lilacs and green with either black or navy. Thanks for your advice
I love this! I’m in a bit of a neutral rut and I think you just pulled me out. Could you do something on wearing a nice graphic tee (I like classy single word tees) and blazers? Thanks in advance!
I also love colour, but am starting to enjoy more neutrals to make the most of my colourful pieces with them. One thing I'm experimenting with is to buy a multi coloured scarf I love and use that to create my colour pallette. It's working so well so far!
Thank you for yet another great video! I love colour and sometimes struggle to know how to wear the colours I’m drawn to. I wondered what outer wear you would choose for the 2 outfits with a patterned blouse? Many thanks ☺️
As I usually don’t wear makeup I feel strong colours make me look a bit “tired” but it was a good idea to put the colour far from the face. I find this subject very interesting as I would love to wear more colour and will definitely try some of your suggestions. Ps: I’m usually super tired when I get back from work in the evening and it really cheers me up when there’s a new video from you. Thanks and greetings from Stockholm 😃
I love color! Especially pairing it with a neutral. I love all your ideas! Thank you Deirdre! ( by the way I am 41 😉, and I follow you from sunny 🌞Florida) 🩷😎
My post menopausal skin tone does not suit black. I do still wear it occasionally next to my face but then need blush and lipstick. I love colour and although I haven't tried colour blocking, a pop of something bright and pretty makes me feel good and also more visible in my 60s. Like a lot of women my age, I do believe that I'm invisible. Always such a pleasure to watch your videos, thank you.
As a neutrals user I'm not confident with bright colors. The very daring to me is an emerald green blouse from Lily Silk. I wear it with a white jeans skirt, and it looks lovely. But until now I didn't dare more...and never bright red, which seems not to match my skin tone. Thanks for the video. I'll suggest one more try. 😂
Hi Deirdre, thanks for the link to the scarf. Also, I went online at M&S and looked at the straight trousers that you recommended.I ended up buying 2 pairs: ecru and dark navy.I have not bought from M&S for a long time but I am astonished at the high quality of these trousers.I would have had to pay more from a high end brand( eg Jaeger) than I did for these 2 pairs incl. postage. So,thanks again for the great tip!
Wow i have those same pink h and m trousers and yes i wear mine with my denim jacket when it's not too hot where i am😂 love them with the floral blouse too
I love color! My skin tone is dark. I think red, orange and pink are very complimentary on me. Green, yellow and blue are colors I plan to experiment with this spring and summer. 💚💙 Another helpful video 👍🏽
Hello Deirdre! I've always been a fan of neutrals but there are a few exceptions :I love pastel tones and... red! I don't wear red often, only on special occasions. I loved all the options you showed, the red trousers and the light blue jacket from Goelia are my favorites. ❤
I absolutely love color! In the spring I mostly wear coral but I also love bright pink and aqua. I usually pair those with white bottoms. Thanks for sharing your love for color!
I'm 65 now, but in my forties I began experimenting with color and I was hooked. Whether it be solid color or a colorful print. I usually combine with a neutral. I've developed confidence in my use of color from the compliments I received. Thanks for this wonderful video! Always love your videos!
Your color selection are so pretty and different ❤. I am 59+ and might try a bolder pink lipstick(s) for this summer. Your blouse looks beautiful on you🥰🌷. Ty Dierdre.
I love wearing colour.....fuscia and coral tend to suit me best. Though pale blues and lemon are good too. Over the winter, I did introduce more neutrals into my wardrobe, but I'm glad now that bright colours are appearing again. My problem is getting things to fit well, and as I haven't got a good choice of shops near to where I live, I've resorted to ordering online....not always very successfully. I recently ordered my usual size 14 in trousers from Sosander and they were huge!!! Always enjoy your videos Deidre. Thank you 😊
Another wonderful video! It's always inspiring to see how you pull outfits together. I loved wearing color when I was younger (and slimmer!) ... it always made be happy.
Another super video, I’m on the less confident list where colour is concerned!, but after watching this I’m ready to start adding some to my wardrobe, I’ve just ordered a pink top, I thought it would go with my denim jacket, what are your thoughts on double denim??? Or is it a big no no, I’ve always avoided doing that! Anyway here goes 🤞🤞xx
Hi Deirdre I’m 63 and I love colour! It’s instantly mood lifting and as I’m brunette, I feel red, which is my fave colour, looks especially good. I’m a warm skin tone so autumnal colours also are a fave. I always make sure lipstick matches what I’m wearing too. Great advice as usual. 💕
Another great video. I love wearing a bit of colour. Loved green red trousers and cream jumper. Also love your pale blue jacket. Great inspiration. Thanks.
Not a big color wearer altho like u say Deirdre Pastels are a nice change in Spring & Summer. I occasionally wear a Lily Pulitzer in the Summer or Winter when I go to the sun. Thank you Deirdre. Liked ur floral arrangement 🌻
I love strong bright colors ❣️ The red trousers with the leo print would be to my taste. I was experiencing how the make colors work together when I prepared my wardrobe these days. It was fun and the red trousers would go well with a lot of my clothes. Great video❣️
I love color but in small to medium amounts. I use to live in Florida and color is everywhere. However as I have aged, i lean to more classic looks with color added. My favorite way to add a pop of color is with my handbag
Color suits me. Probably best colors are cool tones. When I wear lilacs, teals, and greens, I get lots of compliments. Years ago there were ladies set up to find your color pallet and I came out bright summer. This pallet was perfect as it was cool tones and all my favorites. Enjoyed your video as it brought back memories of the search for one's correct colors in a wardrobe.
I love colour all year round. My favourite outfit was the red trousers with white knit. The green striped shirt was gorgeous too. I'm drawn to the cool colours on the colour wheel. ❤
I love your videos and your beautiful flower arrangements 🪴🌸 I am very much neutral color dresser, love to experiment with color. Great tip to wear away from the face.
Deirdre, I tried and tried to buy the pink trousers through your US link. It had an “Add” (to cart) button, but it just didn’t work, nothing happens, sizes and quantities won’t come up and it won’t add them to the cart/basket. I’m sorry, I really wanted you to get the commission for finding us these, but I have so much trouble with your US links, they rarely work. (I was able to get them from the regular app., but not through your link).
Although I love a good neutral outfit, there’s nothing like wearing color! After having my color palette done with an expert I was told that I am a Spring. We look best wearing bright, warm shades ❤. No wonder why I’ve always favored wearing turquoise, coral, yellow etc! It makes me feel happy and also look my best 🎉!!
Great video Deirdre and thank you. Actually I love colour, mainly teamed with neutrals, and my go to place for that is Kettlewell Colours online (UK and USA) for good quality basics in a huge range of colours. As a Light pear shape I do light to medium colours near my face and dark ones waist downwards!
I've loved your video about colours that little blue jacket is lovely and your ivory trousers I luv watching you every day your comments are great ❤❤❤❤❤❤😅😅
Thank you, very nice video 👍🏻💐. I really like the idea of wearing more colour, I will surely add some shoes or other brighter accessories to my closet in the future. The colours you showed all suit you very well, you look great in all of them.
Love that hot pink jean jacket at 9:18. I have a similar one that I really haven't worn. But I do wear my cashmere sweaters in hot pink and bright red quite often in the winter months. Love a deep purple as well.
Hi lovely friends. If you're interested in adding colour into your wardrobe, this video is for you! We'd love to hear from you. Lots of love. Deirdre. XX
I love color, especially near my face.
I always learn from you.... and even if I should think that one of your lovely outfits is not for me, I enjoy the show.
Thanks a lot, Deirdre!
I love color! Neutral capsule wardrobes are boring to me. These are good ideas to play with. Thank you.
Oh my! I LOVE all those beautiful colors! Even at my “advanced” age of 73 ( Ha!) I still love color! Th off white wide leg pants with white blouse and light blue jacket with those absolute GORGEOUS light blue shoes is sooo stunning!

The blue jacket/cardigan with the blue shoes is fantastic!! Love it! Hello from Canada.
I am a color girl. I’ve always worn just about all colors. Black looks awful on me. Especially by my face. Pants are ok. Great video.
Funny….im more confident with color on top half!
Beautifully put together outfits and you do look great in the Red trousers ❤
I love color and usually stick to deep, saturated colors instead of pastels. I guess that's because that's what looks best on me. I have high contrast coloring ( dark salt and pepper hair and lighter skin). It's amazing how some colors can really perk up your mood.
I totally agree! XX
I do love colour but feel more confident wearing it in Summer. Great video thank you x
Me too! Xx
I wear magenta, true green, blues. Love those. Love you, be well, Gloria

Excellent video! Lots of great ideas and options. I do wear more color in the Spring and Summer ☀️ 💐
Those red trousers are fabulous! ❤
I love that pale blue jackett. I think pastel colours give a softer complexion. You look good in all those pastels. Love your makeup too.
That's really kind of you, thank you Monika. XX

I'm learning so much. Thank you Deirde! Could you say more about color and skin tones?
I love fushia, greens (as long as they're not yellowish), blues and pastels (in the summer). It gives my white skin/white hair a welcome brightening.
Looove this video Deirdre so many great ideas with colours ❤💯💥👌👍
I love wearing the colours in my palette as they always flatter me, even when worn close to my face. Wonderful video, as always! ❤
So happy you liked it, Rose. XX

Aww, that’s so sweet of you, Annika. I really appreciate that. Lots of love xx
Where do I find linens that aren’t scratchy? Great video🎉
I like the blouse you are wearing Deidre, the pink floral is lovely. Where did that come from please. 😊
It's from Aspiga. I included the link under the video but I think it may be out of stock now as it was from last summer. XX
@@50FabulouswithMyFriendDeirdre oh ok, I will take a look anyway. Have to keep my open for something similar. Thanks for your response ♥️

Trying to get the courage to wear bright green trousers and magenta pink top, so far kept a neutral top and anal print .

I think as we age, wearing more color becomes more important.
Love coral coloured lip sticks and wear bright colours in my outfits. They make me feel so good . Love your advice
