This year I've purchased some high-waisted trousers and jeans and I LOVE THEM! They cover my belly instead of letting it hang over like with medium or low waists. They stay with me. I'm tall, but have a long torso, but not too long legs.

Hi! No Crocs! Never had them, never will, but, high waisted jeans are definitely for me. also skinny jeans,they tuck into boots and you can wear a heal or a flat shoe with them, and i'll wear mine ( Marks and Spencers) till they wear out ! How about a transition from summer to autumn guide ? xx
You could easily look like the Christmas turkey in metallic if you don't choose the right metallic outfit..I have a lovely tartan wrap which is really useful when its cold.

I'm also relieved that the oversized craze is maybe not as strong. For me, too big is just too overwhelming (and I can't help thinking that there is a reason why clowns wear oversized clothing!). But of course, different looks flatter different shapes and personalities. You are so right - "if you love it, wear it" - great advice! xx

I hope high waisted jeans and trousers continue to be available. I have a small waist (a best asset) and they definitely look better on me. Mid-rise is doable but can't wear a belt with them (just looks off). All I see is the belt making me look wider than I am. Love your videos though!
Crocs are basically “ plastic sandals “ reserved for children at the beach 😂 and lounge wear is for a run to get groceries or on the couch. I have 2 beautiful linen Jaeger blazers that I bought in M & S when I went home to Scotland for a visit & then I put on weight and they don’t fit 😢 I need your meal plan in the US ! You have a Scottish husband, now I love you even more ❤

Dear Deirdre, because of chronic health issues I stay home a lot more than I like. Also, I live in a small town, rural area. Everyone dresses casually…meaning “shouldn’t have left home looking like that🫢”. 😂😂😂. I’m not one of those people. Even though I’m not shopping for business attire anymore, I still enjoy looking at fashion related vids. I enjoy yours a lot. I appreciate that you’re not 19 yrs old and anorexic thin. I’ve never liked the feel or look of crocs - just saying😊 But I’m all for freedom of choice! I’m loving that classic, dark denim is back! I could happily exist with jeans, sweaters (preferably turtleneck) and boots all winter here on Vancouver Island🇨🇦. And rain gear🤣. I’m in the process of evaluating, discarding, and restyling my wardrobe. We moved from “city life” to a coastal community eight years ago and now 98% of my wardrobe needs to be stylish casual and sportswear. I do enjoy your videos😊

I don't really follow trends and stick more to classics. The one thing I have always liked are high waisted jeans. I was a teenager in the 1970's and loved that look. When high waisted jeans finally came back in style, I started buying them up. In fact I just bought 4 more pair. I just think they look so nice with your top tucked in them. I do have low rise jeans only because that was all that was available to buy for some time, but I hate the fact that you have to make sure you have a top long enough to keep you covered when you sit down. I never liked Crocs and the only people that look good in Crocs are little children in my opinion. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing!

Soooo happy high-waisted jeans and trousers are over. I have always been a fan of mid-rise boot-cut jeans, etc. Loving the reds... your sweater looks gorgeous on you. I've managed to lay hands on a few 'rust' blouses and hope these fit into the 'red' category. I live in Canada and am always into cozy clothes, especially with fall on the way. High waisted jeans, trousers are great for me as I’m 5’9” and long bodied. Normal jeans don’t fit in my size as they fit on the middle of my hips and I can’t do them up or if I can they cut me up the middle (ouch!). High waisted jeans fit me just above my hips where most jeans fit others. I love my jeans even at 65 and long May there be high waisted ones. 🎉

Thanks so much! I love updated classics I recently purchased two new blazers one is the black leather faux and the other is a maroon and black tiny check. I love them intend to wear them from everything from jeans to dress pants skirts. From where I live, we always wore lots of denim head to toe as of course I use a lot of turquoise, and I mix in diamonds when I can ! As for red absolutely love it and I treat red like I do the color black it goes with everything in my opinion. Thanks for all the great tips and love your style too.

I agree too, I have a hard time making oversized clothing work. I’m all for Goldilocks-not too… anything, just right.
That is my motto too. If I love it, wear it. Those oversized clothes do nothing for anybody. Hourglass shapes are only for a handful "skinnies".

Thanks so much! I love updated classics I recently purchased two new blazers one is the black leather faux and the other is a maroon and black tiny check. I love them intend to wear them from everything from jeans to dress pants skirts. From where I live, we always wore lots of denim head to toe as of course I use a lot of turquoise, and I mix in diamonds when I can ! As for red absolutely love it and I treat red like I do the color black it goes with everything in my opinion. Thanks for all the great tips and love your style too.

Bought a multi color vibrant fall coat from Aran sweater market, everyone stopped me on the street, everyone loved this coat, granddaughters included. Yes,color is a necessary condition to dull weather conditions in colder climates.

I just purchased two pair of high waisted wide leg ankle pull on jeans from Chicos. They feel great yet I would like your opinion. Is this a dated look? I’m 69, fairly trim with an ample waist so the pull on high waist slims my middle a bit. I’m new to your video and would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!
