    Seeing Lucy pan into view in the beginning brought a smile to my face. Thank you for including her in the video!

    The messier and chaotic the palette, the more well-loved it is! 💖

    Beautiful kitty and marvelous video, thank you! I'm not sure if you've played with any Roman Szmal but they have 2 Cobalt Violets- the one I have is PV49 and if you mix it with Schmincke's PR202 (they call it Quin Fuchsia I think?) you get a gloriously creamy cold bright pink I think you'd love. Also their Nickel Azo Yellow is to die for, if you're looking for an affordable European replacement for the DS version.

      Thanks! I will take a look, I have many of the roman paints and agree they are really pretty! I do wish they also came in tubes though...

      @@iritlandgraf Honestly, same! I'd rather not accumulate used plastic pans when I could just have one and refill it from the tube.

    😊 a great video. I bought this palette from your shop a couple of years ago... before they changed the insert... I STILL love it. I really enjoyed this video. Thank you

    Hi Irit…. Another great point about that palette is the mixing area…. There’s no ‘beading’ and it’s so smooth to mix colours…. I love it!!! I must do as I have three of them 🤣🤣🤣. Take care ❤

    Have you tried the color Dusk Pink by Van Gogh? It is to die for. The granulation 😮!!!!!! I can totally see that color in your palette. I am obsessed with it. ❤❤

    Great palette suggestion for flexibility, sadly no longer available on Amazon. DaVinci has been my go to brand for a while but (with a heavy heart) Cobalt violet is no longer available nor is their Quin Gold. I going to give their Cobalt Violet Deep a try and will definitely check add a tube of Artemis to my order upon your suggestion! Thanks for great content!

    Your Schminke Naples yellow looks very similar to my maimeri blu Naples yellow, creamy, same color, if maimeri blu is more accessible and affordable for you in Austria. : )

    • @iritlandgraf
      @iritlandgraf  9 месяцев назад +1

      Thanks! I think I might have one from Maimeri blue, if memory serves they have several versions... Actually Schminke is the most widely available brand here, even though Italy is closer, I think theirs is a smaller brand and sadly not so available...

    carmine isn't lightfast anyway, its intensity in any of those paintings would quite literally fade fast.

    • @iritlandgraf
      @iritlandgraf  6 месяцев назад

      Do you mean in general or this specific color? Because Van Gogh uses cheaper pigments so my guess it's a synthetic version. I don't remember what the company says about it's light fastness, should probably check anyway 🤔 thanks for sharing!

      @devernepersonal3636 6 месяцев назад

      @@iritlandgraf in general. It’s apparently just not stable. I’m not sure but i think if you mixed it from lightfast pigments…maaaaybe it’s lightfast. I think I heard that. But I’m not 100 percent sure on that part. But carmine is fugitive.

    • @iritlandgraf
      @iritlandgraf  6 месяцев назад

      good to know! But I don't think this is real carmine. According to Van Gogh's lightfastness testing this is lightfast 25-100 years in museum conditions. I don't think they have fugitive colors in their range.
