- Surprise! Who doesn't love a Trader Joe's NEW item haul and taste test?! This week my husband and I picked up all the newest items from Trader Joe's and try them for you so you can decide what to put on your grocery list.

You can roll the cheese-stuffed peppers in panko and air fry, then serve over greens tossed in balsamic dressing! Almost like a fried goat cheese ball salad. So good!
The Mozzerella smackers are great for single people so don’t have to worry about unsealing a big piece of cheese and not finishing. Love them.
The “Buy it, Try it” format was fun for a change. I think those shrimps will be on my next Trader Joe’s list!
I am Indian so here goes on Tikka masala, they have added the tamarind which we usually do not have in Tikka masala. It adds a lot of sour taste to it.

Thank you so much for testing the raspberry shortbread cookies. I got them today and was blown away. My favorite store cookie of all time is the Pepperidge Farm Verona Apricot Raspberry cookies and the TJs are nearly identical if not better and a dollar cheaper.

Yes I like the taste test on the same day as the haul because so often I have to wait until the next day in the afternoon to go to the store when it's soooo busy.

I’ve added several things to my list already (shrimp boom bah, vanilla goat cheese and vegan poke) and I’m just halfway through the video but wanted to mention that poke is pronounced to rhyme with “okay” - FYI. Thanks for this surprise post!

Vegan poke…Its good but it’s even better when you take it up a notch by adding spicy chili sesame oil, avocado, and fresh green onions and eat with tortilla chips…yummy!!!!

I got those grilled olives last week and I love them. I've used a little of the leftover oil on my salads and it's delicious!
Aldi carries some jarred Indian simmer sauces - could you do a taste test of those and compare it your memory of the Trader Joe's tika masala sauce? (I miss that sauce!)

Great taste test! We had the lemon sheet cake last week and it’s amazing!! And what a cute idea to top it with the Jingle mix, that would be so festive. 🤗
You could dip those raspberry cookies in a little bit of choc. sauce or fudge. I think that would be yummy.
You could make a poke bowl out of that, I think you’re right! just seasoned your rice very well and add a bunch of that really special spice that they put on a poke bowl Furikake. Happy Easter family!
Maybe add chopped cucumbers and jalapeños to the poke, along with seasoned rice. I would do a brown for a nutty texture. Loved the formate but I would miss two videos from you.
I definitely like the layout of this video. Loved watching seeing what you bought and then eating them in the same video.

I liked the vegan poke. I ate it with tortilla chips and also with the pretzel slims.

Hi guys! My friend tried the shrimp and said it was way too hot/spicy for her. And Tim loves it. Different strokes, for different folks...Those olives sound good! I would like those peppers with cream cheese filling. Tim :"there's some cream cheese in that bad boy"... I bet those Madeliene's are Yummy. Would be good with tea. Your taste tests never disappoint!
I made vegan sushi bowl with TJ poke: rice, julienned veggies, edamame, avocado, sprinkled with seaweed, it was pretty good. But it would off been good even without TJ poke. 😃

The red peppers were out last year. I still have some in my frig at home. I like dressing up my meals with one or two.

I think the dressing you are thinking of is the Kewpie Sesame dressing. My Costco just got it back in!

when you go to Trader Joe’s now that you no longer work for them, do you go to a different Trader Joe’s when you’re doing a haul , or do you go to the one used to work at?
I still go to the same one. It’s nice to see my old co workers :)

I really enjoyed this style of video and I always like seeing what’s new at TJs. I guess I like the flavor of dirt because I love beets and am definitely going to try the poke. I like pickled beets but not regular beets lol. Tons of sugar in pickled beets so not the best for you lol

I liked this video style! I didn’t love the olives but when I chopped them up and ate them in my salad the smokiness wasn’t as strong. Still I probably wouldn’t buy them again. The garlic stuffed ones are my favorite.

Today I surprised one of my big sisters and my niece who I haven't seen since before covid for Easter and we all went shopping at TJ's which was my first time in a while. They loved it too. Another fab post! Thanks for still including the prices in this haul/taste test combo. Love the combo too! It's also great you guys let us know the specifics on how you cooked the shrimp and that's a good price or a pound -was going to try them till I read the label with fat etc, darn! So funny you both mentioned beets "taste like dirt." I don't eat them much, I should since fresh they are a nutrient powerhouse and great for blood circulation, but next time I have them I'm sure I'll think of you guys! ps my brother adds bits of canned beets in deviled eggs, just like my mom, yuck! ps thought I'd check to see if smoke flavor was added to to the grilled olives and am happy to report no flavor, or even icky chemical natural flavors, added = yea! And I finally tried those mini choc mousse cakes 6 pack and they are amazing! My store has had the assorted flavors very sporadically but the choc would be my fav anyway + not too unhealthy just like you've said! I'll have to try the rasp cookies - worth a few more treadmill minutes I'm sure! Be well guys, and love the usual cat photo bomb, -from Colorado!

I think they started carrying the peppers around the holidays. I remember first seeing them around November-ish. I thought they stopped selling them, as I haven't seen them recently, but I guess not! I've also seen a similar product at Aldi.
