The blue pin is Balam Industries, which is one of the big manufacturers and mega corporations. They’re like Crest The one that looks like a styleized A is Arquebus Corp, they’re Balam’s chuef competition and are the energy weapon focused manufacturer, like Mirage. The flagship core for Arquebus looks like the GAEA core made by Mirage, on that note.
In the first game play trailer we hear "callsign Raven, priority subject for termination, high on the list". I think we will be Walters leashed Hound for a time and then brake free to become a Raven!
Sticker IV is of a muzzled dog or wolf we see it in the gameplay trailer with the pilot who talks to the player. We also see stickers of presumably Callsign Raven which has a black bird on it and Walter's which is a fist holding multiple leashes.
Hi Sophie, great video! Can I say, I've never seen such a thorough and interesting analysis of stickers lol. Absolutely loved it! Just to let you know, Sekiro was (co-)directed by Kazuhiro Hamatani. Masaru Yamamura's position on Sekiro was lead combat designer. That's not to debunk your story associations, but just to lay down some superfluous facts and avoid confusion :)
I binged lore videos on the previous games to get a feel for what to expect in 6. I must say breaking free will bring a refreshing level of catharsis given how 4 and For Answer ended. Although knowing fromsoft freedom will come at a cost.
that last set of stickers is fascinating. every single one has some kind of 'reclaiming the fucked up things that have happened to me' symbolism 1 - a raised fist has a long history in black power and anti-racism. also kind of looks like a zombie's hand clawing its way out of the dirt. perhaps someone who 'should be dead'? 2 - one face sliced into four. an identity shattered. 3 - no idea. an eye? 4 - a muzzled dog. another pretty standard symbol for someone not in control. 5 - someone in an exosuit. a worker, perhaps? certainly someone proud of the fragile flesh inside the machine. 6 - a group of people? the long hammer thing above them reminds me of soviet imagery, but I really don't know. this looks so weird and specific that I'm sure this has to be, like, a literal image of some object we'll recognize from the game. 7 - no one uses a lobotomy as their logo unless they have some capital T TRAUMA going on. (or maybe they're an evil doctor?) 8 - and two fetuses. twins? some kind of cloning project? there's definitely some medical horror at play --- but assuming these are all logos that people are choosing to put on their ACs, this almost suggests these people have some amount of freedom to rebel against and ironically identify with the horrible things that have happened to them.
"Hound" is obviously cross-contamination from the mind of GRR Martin, forever woven into the DNA of FromSoftware since the success of Elden Ring. Also confirming that AC takes place in the far future of the GoT universe. inb4 Moonlight Railgun
NOOO FOR ONCE ON THE CHANNEL THE DISCUSSION IS ACTUALLY BRIEF,,,,,
Nobody to enable me :(
It was cool watching this after the game’s release. There were a number of predictions you got totally right
Aw thanks!!

I watched it like 30 times. It's like the perfect action sci-fi trailer. This is going to be a reboot of sorts, I think. I'm so, so, so excited.

Freedom indeed came at a cost🥲
i think the hermit crab has a soldier helmet
What a great trailer!
Though I wish was shown in the Summer Game Fest event, as it would had gotten more exposure.
... Are we gonna get Human Minus'd after 3 missions and lose our tutorial level strength? It isn't a FromSoft move to do that, but maybe...

When I saw the title say "brief discussion" i was expecting it to be an hour long, but this time its actually brief
I failed you all 😔
Woo, the reaction/discussion I've been waiting for! =)
Ya know a full lore series for Armored Core would be great, AC6 made me love the series
a hound? like a Chrome Hound?

From also did an XBox exclusive arena shooter called Chromehounds that nobody remembers.
i remember it solely because i bought it but couldn't play it because it was all online and the servers were down lol
woag, the stickers are really interesting! This game sounds so interesting... i see, i will end up becoming a mecha fan.
What if there's a twist midway thru the game where you assume the title of raven
God bless the Japanese and their refusal to admit that giant mechs are incredibly impractical as a war vehicle
