That Hyrule Circuit race deserves an Emmy award... and also, on that Hyrule Circuit race, shoutout to an old friend of mine, Starkosi... he's played this game for years... used to race him during my early days on Mario Kart :)
It threw me off when you got a red shell at 4:27 but then I realized you hit the item box the frame you dropped back to 2nd then immediately jumped back to 1st so it made it seem like you got a red shell in 1st place.
The Thwomp Ruins ending was also insane as well lol. It was nice to see Reds on the Wild Woods race dominate with the old meta... Waluigi in the Biddybuggy and rollers.
Drifting and releasing your boost off the glider ramp is called "glider vectoring" or sometimes "low glider" as well. Glider vectoring is releasing your boost off a glider ramp in a diagonal (left or right) direction which is faster than just tricking off the glider ramp regularly, however, if you mix up motion controls with with it's called "motion glider" which is much harder to pull off but also much faster as well. For cannon gliders jumping off the ramp before the cannon is also faster than tricking off the ramp before cannoning off (cuz there's a delay if you trick off but if you jump off the ramp then you'll immediately cannon off).

That's pretty much what happened to me at the final item set during the final lap on Yoshi Circuit during our race there during your birthday livestream (I hope you had a *VERY* happy birthday, by the way 💜).
Prior to whiffing on that item set, I thought bagging was going pretty well for me... and, if my memory's working, my whiff was caused by ⚡, which would be how ⚡ ruined my Yoshi Circuit race (as well as the other 5 races in between 150cc Royal Raceway and 200cc Coconut Mall, with those 2 races being my highlights of the stream).
    2:38
    Grand Theft Savannah.
    2:42
At Coconut Mall during your birthday stream (see first timestamp), I went from 11th or 12th to 2nd (I'm not sure what my position was when I got the race-saving ⚡, but I know I was in 11th with it in hand before using it to chain at the first item set of the final lap), so I know how elated you feel here.
    2:58
You like that Mii, do you? I might just have to bring Oddball out to play for a future stream where you play with viewers. 💜
    3:06
Maple Treeway! Yay for Wigglers! 🧡
    3:48
(in Tour Guide voice) If you look straight ahead, you can see two happy Wigglers in their natural habitat. 🤠
    4:41
(still in Tour Guide voice) If you look straight ahead, you can see two happy Wigglers in their natural habitat, but the one on the right appears to have shown us the butt. 🤠
    5:37
(in Tour Guide voice once more) If you look straight ahead, you can see a happy Wiggler standing majestically in its natural habitat while the other Wiggler happily trots along to your left. 🤠
(back to normal voice) The Wiggler to the left never makes it in the footage this lap, but we know it's there because we don't see the second Wiggler to the right. 🧡
    8:02
I'll need confirmation from the inward experts I've befriended (wind, who has commented on your channel before, and Adam Alam, who I already recommended you watch) before I say with any certainty, but I think the cut is actually easier to take shroomless on inward. I know there are a few convoluted steps you need to take on outward to get the cut shroomless (see the Bayesic Training video on Shy Guy Falls for the full details), but if it can be done on outward, it can be done on inward as well. After all, there's no "Super Bounce" mechanic involved, which is the one thing outward can do that inward can't.
    8:57
    OHH... 🍌. 💔
Not the controller's fault. You blocked the red shell. The controller did its job.
    9:45
I addressed this at the previous timestamp, but I didn't address the scenario you're describing, so here it goes. If you snipe that 🍌 with your green shell, the red shell behind you hits you, and you lose the race anyway. The way to win was to block the red and evade the 🍌, which I thought you were going to do until you ended up swerving into the 🍌.
As far as #BlameLink moments go, this is a false alarm. 💜
    10:37
I think it's called Vector Gliding, but that might just be another name for Motion Glider, in which case I also have no idea what drifting off a glider with a mini turbo is called.
    13:34
    (in 8-bit voice) *M O R T I S* 💣👀💥🪦
(back to normal voice) I really need to remember the 8-bit voice when making "mortis" commentary. The 8-bit voice used in the video game "Faith: The Unholy Trinity" is what I have in mind, as that's where I first heard the term about 14 months ago.
    15:02
That lap 3 cut is what makes this a Bagger.
Yes you have a list, which I provided in the comments of a previous installment of this series, and yes Koseki Bijou Mountain (which, for purposes of the list, I did use the "official" name of Rock Rock Mountain) is on it. 🗿💜
Told you I'd get to this video in the next few days, and sure enough, I did. Once again, I hope you had an amazing birthday on Wednesday. 🎂💜

Thank you so much! Motion controls certainly takes a bit of getting used to for sure haha. I'm glad you're enjoying the series -- thank you for watching!

Do you find it easier to trick using the buttons rather than controller shaking? I haven't used motion controls, but watching you play with them, looks really fun.
What controller do you use? @@PurplePh0enix

2:58 did you just zoom in using the switch? Or is that an edit

      @PurplePh0enix  22 дня назад +1

I zoomed in using the Switch!
If you go to System Settings > System. Scroll down to where it says "Zoom" and make sure that setting is turned on. If it is, all you need to do is double tap the home button twice to zoom in. If you want to back out of zooming in, double tap the home button again.
