My fault, i didn't make any publicity about this video, on reddit or what, cause my english is a bit bad, I made some mistakes and I'm afraid it'll be a problem for people... But thank you any cases, glad you liked it, and if you personally want to make a post on reddit or some pub about this video, you can, I don't have any problems with that. :)
Very good video, but you forgot the most important part that went to their downfall. In the second split of S3 they beat SK and were top of the league at that moment. An ingame bug was discovered, the match had to be redone and Gambit lost by a scratch. Next week the lcs was held in london on the wembley arena and also instead of the regular 2 game weekend they played 4 games. 3 of the team members, cant remember exactly who had visa issues and couldnt attend the week so Gambit had to play with 3 substitutes so they went 1-3. So the downfall of the greatest team in league history happened due to an Aatrox bug in which the champ dealt 5 less dmg per auto and visa issues. Sad!
This was a really cool team back in the day. I liked them because they had an innovative playstyle and stood up against the top tier korean teams. I would say season 2 was their peak as a team, and winning the tie-breaker in the S3 Worlds against the heavily favored SSO was a great moment as well. Also Genja was never rated highly enough. He was a really steady adc. Thanks for making this vid.
I don't think that any other team is going to be able to ever come close to what M5 brought in LOL. Alex Ich AP lulu mid and Darien shen top with tatikk shiv or Zilean mid full AP ... they were ultimate trolls, making LOL seem like it's tetris.
its impossible. because what this team did is learn the game before everyone else and better then everyone else. now that the game has been out no one can do what they did not even them thats why there will never be a team that wins like that and as much back then nobody studied games and now they do.
@@JnxakaBeasie I actually love the troll crap like how UOL got into the LCS with the (pre-rework) poppy or the shaco. Competitive LoL could use some of this shit more often imo. Nowadays even a damn blitz supp generates excitement on the big stage, it's a shame. Gold elo matches are more entertaining than worlds at this point.
+Daniel Reyes Just as any other sport, most of the old-school legends just aren't as good compared to all of the new guys. Things change and people get better. Gambit just couldn't keep up, and started losing a lot of games. Alex Ich (their team captain) eventually left. As a result, they had a lot of communication problems, and went on another loss streak. Gambit Gaming then went through numerous roster changes including Darien and Genja leaving. Their 2015 roster was Cabochard Top, Betsy Mid, Diamondprox Jungle, FORG1VEN ADC, and Edward support. They performed decently well compared to their previous years, since Alex Ich left. Gambit even earned themselves a spot in the 2016 EU LCS Spring promo. However, a lot of critical roster changes followed shortly after. FORG1VEN became sub adc, Cabochard, Edward, Betsy, and Diamondprox all leave Gambit gaming. Now, Gambit Gaming has zero remaining players from the Moscow 5 ara (in the starting roster). I'll still watch their games, but I'll never forget the most legendary players in the history of LoL.. Darien, Alex, Danil, Genja, and Edward.
@@CombatVault Alex Ich made a carreer out of playing for NA academy teams and getting them into the LCS before moving onto the next NA academy team lol. They were very good players indeed, but they belonged to the old world unfortunately. Also the game was a mystery back then. M5 was one of the first teams to make serious progress on solving it. This is more a testament to some other players like Faker who have remained top tier globally for like 8 years+, than a weakness for old players like xPeke or Diamondprox. That said, M5 roster did have that magic dust and I feel so blessed for watching pro LoL during that time and getting to see their gameplay. They were nuts.
Good ol times, my favorite team. When M5/Gambit was playing, you had to see that match, they really were the most entertaining team in Europe
How come this doesn't have more views?? It's a really well made video showcasing m5's journey.10/10 vid

Why did this team fall apart?
