I drove my first car in my dad's name and later went to get a truck in mine after I paid off my first one and drove off the lot with the truck I wanted, its mostly about a good credit score and a loan portfolio helps as well...lenders like to see various forms of loans in your name to be less of a risk and yes you might have to put money down but not HALF of the car loan Your exactly right I screwed my credit as a young man now I own a detailing company and can't get anything with out the full amount of cash. As someone who had a 760 and no debt, meaning it is only rising over time. VERY well done ! I say this with 40+ years in mortgage finance & banking working with credit bureaus. Different models and parameters are used by different industries but *850 Credit restoration* info is pretty much universal. If you're trying to max your credit scores, there is a happy medium between too many credit cards and none. Too many cards with zero balnce may actually hurt you in some cases. Even if you do not use them, you have a potential. To always pay cash & still have cards doesn't help your scores as well
Took a year for me to build my score from mid 400s to 600 where I’m stuck now. I have 2 credit cards, a self account, auto loan. Everything paid on time and utilization 5-10% paid off every month. Thinking of applying for a new credit card or something cause my score isn’t increasing Great recommendation, this helped me alot. *850 credit restoration* was one of the best things I had come across as far as boosting your score. I don't remember the actual number of how much but it was somewhere cool!!

Credit scores are just a form of federal control, so if you want to continue living a good life? it’s important to have a high score. My house and vehicles are paid off, I have one Visa card for all purchases, which gives me air miles, and I pay it off monthly, but my score bounces between 800 and 820 without changing any of my patterns, so it’s manipulated for some reason. *850 Credit Restoration* made it stay at that range and getting it up

What I think what Ash Cash meant to say was "If you use credit and run it up you lose. But if you leverage credit with creative financing i.e. (Airbnb/Peerspace/vacant land and/or vacant lots and Turo etc) you can build passive income and generational wealth.

I like what I hear, I can tell you have some traditional ways or mindset as foundation but also progressive in using the credit. You resemble Dave Ramsey teaching but also progressive in the credit world. I know he would be not as progressive with exploring the credit, but I like what you're saying

Let's put things into perspective because I have noticed that people that have something to sell promote not going to college or that college doesn't work for the entrepreneurs. Most millionaires and billionaires have degrees and they come from ivy league schools or HBCUs outside of the entertainment industry. The richest people in the world all have degrees except for 63 people. In the black community College is a plus for us. Period !
But that degree isn't usually their claim to wealth, it's the connections and politics they are exposed to bc they a stick together and help each other.
@Crowned Life Chronicles the degree is how they learn to do business. The wealthy and rich have degrees in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, finance and IT. There is a whole article on it. Plus the Washington post did another article aside from Forbes richest list. Most businesses fail because of lack of education and money. Stop listening to these gurus especially black people. Most people spend thousands on courses and masterminds that they never use and could've just paid for a degree.

Thanks for speaking up. Tech and tech adjacent careers make just as much as athletes! Whether base salary or vested stock over 4 years, working for someone with a little education or a lot of education can make bank and then go into consulting or fund other ventures.

I had two charge offs past the statute of limitations and I have disputed both items using notarized affidavits, the metro, e-oscar, and law even complained to the cfpb but THEY ARE STILL there. I was wondering if I send to the original creditor with a 1099-c request seeing they charged off and they and showing they are in violation of US CODE, FEDERAL REPORTING, AND even in violation of the IRS by them not sending a 1099-c? What are your thoughts and thank you btw?

Female construction worker here for 17 years now with nothing to show for this "Great Job" but pain. I'm not incarcerated like they say in the video but I feel like I am incarcerated in life.
