When I get to Install, I'm prompted for the install disk... so I put the Win7 DVD in but then I still need to browse to the folder with the right .inf file - where is that?
If anyone else runs into this issue, first make sure you select the manufacturer: Select Microsoft. For the Network Adapter: Select Microsoft Loopback Adapter. Windows 7 shouldn’t ask for any additional files.

Sorry for the late reply…. Before clicking the 'Action' menu option, you must select the “Network Adapters” in the list on that window, then that option will appear in the 'Action' menu

For WAN related issue, use tracert to see how far you can get to the target system on the Internet.
No "Add Legacy Hardware" option when I right click on the computer name in Device Manager.

In the Manufacturers list box, click Microsoft.
In the Network Adapter list box, click Microsoft Loopback Adapter, and then click Next.
