LOVE the costuming. When the art is great, skin is not necessary.

They were beautiful! Very much a late 90s early 2000s aesthetic but I loved that approach! If i were to put this show on today i wouldnt change much of the original costuming.

Grania's Betrayal showcases the VERY. BEST. Of this Art. While I enjoy the entire show (Tony Kemp is OUTSTANDING!!!! in the Narrative and Cohesiveness of the Story!) The music in this scene, is beyond Hypnotic. Love, love LOVE!

I am in love with her hair! I've been watching these Dancing on Dangerous Ground videos and I'm starting to think that I like this more than Riverdance. Or I at least like them equally. Riverdance is so classic, but this is so... innovative.

rather, Riverdance turned Irish Dance into a machine-like, very codified thing, which was innovative then, but irish dancing began as a way of individual expression and I guess, storytelling, at weddings and other ceremonies and gatherings. So while this appears innovative, in a way it's a return to its roots.

This scene is so amazing! Jean is so icy cold and conniving here--fantastic!! But, couldn't she just have told Finn to shove off? LOL!

In this scene, Grania and the other ladies help together making a sleeping drug and give it (of course) to the men and especially Finn. Why? Because Grania loves more Diarmud than Finn to whom she happens to be here already married.
