- Here is a quick update on my 2024 plans as well as an introduction to my new kitten.

Mabel McChinstrap Gibson??? What a wonderful moggy name, Kari! I'm so pleased to hear that wee Mabel is making you so happy. You look lovely, darling! I adore the "lives" and I am so glad you're going to continue with them. I know you've said they stress you out because you're worried you're not very confident, but I saw you relax into it during the last one. It was great! I am very excited to hear all of your new plans for the coming year. I'm ready to explore as well. So often, I click on a vid and you and I are on the same wavelength. I love when that happens. Thanks Lindsey, I misspoke, her name is actually Mabel McChinstripe Gibson because she has a stripe under her chin. You are so kind about how I look, I am still getting over a nasty virus that stuck with me over the holidays and quite a bit into the new year, but I am on the mend now. I love that we are often on the same wavelength, it is funny how that happens. Love and hugs from us both. 💗💗
Being a pet owner, I can’t imagine living without one anymore. It’s no wonder that you didn’t last long after Darcy. I’m more interested in mixed media, too! I still love journals, but I want to incorporate more personal art within them. Your plans for your channel sound wonderful, Kari! ❤

I have two cats myself.....They are such a joy and so funny.....One of my kitties is a black with a small tux...I love the black, or black and white cats, not so much of the ginger ones....I can't wait to see your creative art projects...................😻

She's wonderful! Completely!! different to have a youngin' in the house vs. a senior sweetie. A fresh new start and new schedule always an energizing boost, having goals and a vision are so important do give our endeavors some direction. Oooooo! and a freshly tidied studio, your year is off to a booming start! Glad you're "feeling' it!!" again.

Thanks Ker, yes, she is totally different to Darcy who was a lot less active (although very vocal), I am really being kept on my toes. I am much happier about my new schedule and it has given me an energy boost. It is great to have a tidy studio, but you know it won't last. Zines will be real and digital. Are you going to start making some again? I remember when you intended to make one a month.💗💗

Hello cutie Miss Mabel! Your channel is one of my favorites and am so excited for your plans for 2024! For the 100 day project, a few suggestions would be ATCs, Rolodex cards or Ink Box cards. Those all can be done with mixed media. I will enjoy watching whatever you decide to do.

I know what you mean about lives, they do that to me a little too, but I do watch some of my favourite artists and it is nice to be able to interact with them in real time. Aww so pleased you have got a kitten. We lost our lovely dog in March. My youngest boy requested, top of his Christmas wish list a puppy. So at the end of November we rehomed a puppy. Not sure what breed she is, a bitzer! Bits of this and bits of that lol She is keeping us on our toes, she also likes to bite them too 😂. I look forward to see you using your gel plate. I have one tucked away in my stash somewhere, so will be watching for some tips x Sorry I have been quiet, we had a very quiet Christmas and an even quieter New Year. After losing Mum in October, it just didn't feel right to be celebrating, no one was really in the mood. We had a quiet family time x

Yayy for gelli printing and art journals! I've moved on from jj. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. There's an Australian artist called Leigh who's following #junkjounaljanuary but instead of the usual papers, she's doing it in her art jounal. Check her out. Glad you've got a new pusscat companion, she's sweet. Mx
