    Tf is yalls problem with AAs. Lasts for months, can be replaced in seconds, won't turn your mouse into ewaste 3 years from now.

      I get what you're saying but having a replaceable battery is pretty awesome. No need to discard the mouse if the battery were to go bad. You could use their "powerplay" thing and not use a battery at all. Hopefully the switches aren't garbage like the omron ones they used before.

      ​@@codpro35 You can replace rechargeable batteries cheaply when they go bad. However, my main problem with AA batteries is their weight. Another issue is that the shell cover on the G305 loosens over time, and I assume the G309 will have the same problem. The powerplay feature is cool but very expensive, and probably only a small percentage of users have it. I like the new shape, but I don't understand why they made these changes when many people in the community are asking for a superlight version of the G305.

      @@aphae Use a AAA rechargeable lithium and a ball of foil and you can shave off about 17 grams. :)
