@@1982MCI the only way I see it changing is a true nhra promod team brings there program with a competitive car and puts in as much time effort research testing and commitment as these guys. But even then fireball will still have the experience and gamesmanship to show who's series this is. Not taking anything away from anyone else bc all of those guys are working hard bad fast and spending huge dollars to be there. But team fireballs got it figured out. I believe those Mussi motors might get it figured out also though. We will have to see what next year's look like though
Ryan will see many more titles if those other don't step up there program a whole bunch!!!
@@johnslawnseasttn4489 again, you’re absolutely correct and I couldn’t agree more. It here’s what I also believe but don’t have facts to support it yet. I think with NPK rules being tightened up it has really put the top competitive cars on equal ground and what is going to win races and ultimately a championship is driver experience and the better maintenance plan and team. The car will be second fiddle behind those key elements because cars are of relatively equal weight, equal power and by next year the competition will be littered with cars from just a handful of builders. There’s not a huge difference between car design and fabrication so it’s gonna come down to driver experience and consistency.
I could be wrong but this is what I see now but let’s talk in a year and see what happens one year later, lol
I actually think those Musi motors are at their max. Yes, they are fast enough to win a couple of events every year and can stay in the points hunt but, I think the reason for that is the fact that they are basically able to blow an engine nearly every pass bc they are funded by Musi so they have a trailer full of spares at every race. I heard that Lizzy blew up 3 motors to win in Colorado this year. The other nitrous guys can’t do that which is why only the Bird bros. have been top 10 other than Musi sponsored teams

Ryan is one of the most humble, appreciative, stand up dudes .
That last scene is why Ryan Martin is the class of that whole field. His performance alone is reason enough, but it's his character that puts him head and shoulders above them all. Discovery channel, all their employees, all the people that work all the tracks, all those of the race series itself, and every driver that appears in the Invitational class owes every bit of what they get from it to that one man. He's been the driving force in terms of getting people through the gates of the track and the viewer's eyes on the TVs at home. Back to back brutal losses at the final hurdle, back to back crowned as champion at the final hurdle. You couldn't write it any better.
Going into the 5th season, they are still the driver/car/team benchmark, and every driver/team there knows that no other victory comes close to satisfying them than to get one on that combination.
The in car camera views are the best. Watching you strapping all those belts then making a fast pass. Your planted in the seat. 😆

Check out who Blake Copson was. 10.5 world champ and absolute beast behind the wheel and even more humble. The kid won in every class he raced in from outlaw 10.5 to pro 275. He was Far too young to pass away. RIP BCOP!
To have the respect of a fellow racer for them to give away a race for your championship. Then to turn around and feel worse about them loosing vs winning the championship speaks volumes to who you are as a person. Much respect and well deserved.
