for 200 credits you invalidate the melting point without mustang support. with mustangs you can zap to remove the multi zap and then just alpha it down before the small unit screen dies. OR outrange it with your own melting point...
@@andrewgreeb916 Sure, but you are going to have other units yourself. If you are assuming you don't, then melting point would still destroy every other unit in a cost-for-cost matchup. Well with the exception of steel balls in that scenario, where two units of balls (400cr) will beat 1 melty (400cr) Interesting thing that happens though - with full upgrades at level 3, 3 fully teched melting points would beat 6 units of fully teched balls, primarily because of the AOE EMP ability - even if balls have crawler spawn on death tech.
Man, wish I'd teched for the Melting Point healing too - if only for the spectacle 😁
Remember to sub here for more! ruclips.net/user/CobGames
hope the break from Mechabellum isn't too long, definitely enjoy catching these vids before I go play some myself.
these uploads became a daily must watch for me
I was so sad you didnt use the melting point healing upgrade thing lol
In hindsight, same! Would've taken things to the next level for sure
finally a melting point video!
But I love the Energy Absorption upgrade. the life steal makes those things stay alive for so much longer.
Would it be a good idea to buy a nuke in round 7?
whats your combat ranking at?
Not high enough, darn it! About 3k at the moment
Melting point has no counter pretty much. The only way to counter Melting Point is to get Melting Point first yourself.

Melting point sucks against spam units, even with multitarget

Aoe melting points lets gooo haha love that shit xD even if it is a niche
Man, I feel the AoE is actually BiS most of the time. Love it
@@CobStrategy I just never see anyone else go for it 😅I saw the upgrade and had to try it but never see anyone else go for it
I just countered a similar strat with a single parasite sniper.
counters should not depend on having luck with the cards. The 5 way split shot just seems to strong on meltingpoints.
You be sayin' my name all the time, man.
high-level phoenix spamming with quantum can't be countered.
I thought so too until mass snipers with EMP-Rounds completely disabled my quantum Airforce
A Backrow of AA spec Mustang's can actually deal pretty fast with this. I have defeated multiple Phoenix spammers with this
