Colbert woman spends $12,000 in online puppy scam

- The Better Business Bureau says online puppy scams are easy to fall victim to because they appeal to people's emotions. One Colbert resident knows this all too well. KXLY4's Caroline Flynn reports.
If 12000 was her life savings she honestly shouldn’t have gotten a dog like I’m sorry but it’s just the reality you should have enough money to be able to take care of them

@@lilcholo7017 oh my, I was scammed two days ago for a Husky I wired the guy $500 then he asked for $500 and thats when i got suspicious and confronted him and realized it was a scam. The worst, it makes me so angry that so many people get tricked

I know someone who was scammed £16,000 for a dog. Absolutely ridiculous. Exactly the same story of the air-conditioned crate. Scammer kept saying the money would be refunded (?!). Scammers are bad, but people getting scammed need to go to life school.
This happened to me. I busted them a few doors down from my home in Milwaukee. Wouldn't surprise me if it's them again. They're so good they were running a site nationwide. They used my neighbor's name who was a soldier. I just happened to walk by and the cat was running loose and come up to me to be pet. Same cat they claimed was on the east coast needing transport.
Info Wars sadly it just happened to me this week and we found out after hearing from airline security after i tried to pick my puppy up and sadly no puppy and out of 1600 dollars that have been saving for a long time:/
Just got scammed today. My heart is broken. All I wanted was a puppy 😞 I Lost my ESA animal 2 years ago . Being scammed like this really skyrocketed my depression and anxiety
As a animal lover myself I can relate to such emotion and distress, Then again rescuing should had been taken into consideration.
I but I also understand a Rottweiler is best as young as possible when sharing the family.
A real breeder will never ask you for money for vet bills. Every breeder has a savings account.

hello,its so sad how people do all this crazy things,scams online.i was scammed of $4500 cause i made payment of 2 husky puppies for my mother and daughter but nothing ever got delivered besides the stupid scammer blocked me on instagram after receiving confirmation of my payment,it had me bothered and worried i couldnt get my mom the gift she will love the most that is the puppy.i came up to my husband and told him after i was scammed $4500,very sad on his shoulder he told me that i can recover my money back and i was shocked,he said hack_sting on instagram is a legit hacker and will have my money refund in 24hrs,i didnt hesitate i DM hack_sting and he got my $4500 recovered and refunded back to me after asking me some questions and also i sent him proof of payment.im so thankful to hack_sting on instagram,he is legit and i recommend him for anyone who wants there money recovered.....
