Midscreen he can do his light tackle and special tag into Gotenks and he is now at shout cancel rejump height for a full confirm into ghost oki. In the corner it’s basically free real estate lol. Broly one of ghost best partners in that regard for helping Gotenks get ghost oki.

No I think broly definitely has ways of going into ghost oki, and I think almost every character in the game could have some sort of setup to rejump off of a grounded hit. But I think he struggles a lot more than other characters going into it off of stray hits. Like most characters can get a 2h, confirm it into a move, and tag into gotenks for ghost oki meterlessly. Really the only way for broly to do that would be to either assume 2h is going to connect and tag out instantly or j214 h while he's in the corner and then spend an extra bar with gotenks to vanish and get the corner back. Same thing with like a stray superdash or air to air, a lot of characters can just do a move and tag into gotenks but broly is forced to take them out of the corner. He definitely has ways to do it, but it seems like it's just harder for him.

I know this vids been out for a bit but anyway I've been trying to build a team and I really liked the idea of 17 in the back for that A assist and just sauce in general but after you said he didn't synergize well I thought of gotenks, baby, and base vegeta but idk if base vegeta synergizes well with gotenks and if he does what order to place that team in
I think they synergize pretty well together. Gogeta 4 meets all the criteria for allowing gotenks to consistently set up ghost oki, and having a level 1 that can switch sides allows gotenks to get his level 3 oki, which just got better after the patch. And I believe (don't quote me on this) that gogeta 4 can get some really good mix with gotenks A assist using double air dash. They're just a very solid pair.
@@illaGreenTea the only major downside I can think of right now is the meter gain nerf, but I’m sure you can counter that with either an assist that lets gogeta get levels or just 17.
I think jiren definitely pairs well with gotenks. because his combos use his air ki blast into superdash and not something that uses the smash property, he can get pretty good damage on combos consistently, he can get a lot of extra damage in a lot of situations by doing charge j2h after tagging in from gotenks, and I think his assists are both really good defensive assists for gotenks.
