I have terrible veins too. I find drinking a lot of water before my appointment helps. It's funny because east African nurses tend to find my veins quickly. They call our Somali nurse cousin the vampire 😄
Yesss, please start your running journey. Once you get there, you wont look back. 😊 I could barely run 3 km when I started 2 years ago. And now I m training for a 31 km race in May. 😊
Omg, Sara’s whole experience with the nurses reminds me of my last experience at the hospital. I don’t usually get nervous about needles but as soon as they start struggling I start crying 😂. They poked me 7 times in total that day, not fun at all.
I’ve never heard of the how you spend new years eve = your new year + the grape thing but Amir’s right, it’s definitely a pagan sounding practice! It seems like it originated in either Spain or Mexico. It’s shirk though because to think that anything other than Allah’s decree determines one’s fortune is essentially setting up an associate to Him aoouthubillah. Please warn your friends against that Sara! May Allah SWT bless you guys and grant you a wonderful new year filled with blessings and prosperity!
Oh yeah I don't think they were being serious, they know better than to believe in other than the Qadr of Allah but barakAllaahu feek for the advice, good looking out🫶 Allahumma ameeeen for all of us!!
