- Hi loves! This video is a PROM MAKEUP TUTORIAL! YAY! Not only that, but the majority of the products I use are drugstore! You can wear this look to any special occasion, whether it be prom, a formal (for us Aussies) or a birthday party! It's not a natural, everyday look though, sorry for those of you who would prefer something a bit lighter! Maybe I'll film an extra one for you guys ;) x

I just did a prom inspired look using my naked 3 palette (mine is a bit more subtle for beginners) and had so much fun fulfilling the request for my subscribers! Gorgeous Lauren! Is that the Stila foil you used around 4:49? I couldn't tell if you used the mixing medium that comes with it or not, BUT those things are so crazy glamorous! If you were wanting a more opaque look, definitely suggest patting it on with your finger (it makes it so intense!) but I love how you used it with a more sheer finish as well. :) Stunning as ever!
I love those things, I literally had to buy them all. I don't care too much for the mixing medium they come with though, I find that they Never set properly. Love applying them with a clean finger, it just adds the right amount. (:

Can you use the front camera and just zoom that in? I don't really like viewing the entire video from one side. Just my opinion though x
Zooming in and out on the front camera is actually a lot harder for me! In this video I didn't have enough of the front view I agree, I didn't realise I was holding the mirror in front of my face during most of the video!
The side view it's actually really good, we can see everything properly! :)

how do you get a lighter concealer when I'm already the lightest shade :(
Try pearl powder! It gives that highlighted look for paler people. It works really well
Add a bit of white moisturizer to it.
you don't have to use a concealer as a highlighter u could just use a regular one, like the Mary one or any !! just a better solution xxxx
You can add pigment into it
You can use white eye shadow like you do with your brow bone

Try the Real Techniques Brushes. I got a set of four for like 18-19 dollars. They work really well too.
Your hair is PERFECT! Much better curly! And of course, as always, the Make Up is beautiful.
I'm still really not liking the close up shots from the side angle. The placement of it is just really strange. I'd much prefer a close up from straight on

Does anyone know any foundations that have shades lighter than ivory or porcelain? They just seem to turn me orange. Im very pale also and want to try keep it drugstore
Maybeline has some pretty light shades, I also have pale skin and found that using a cc cream works so much better.
Loreal true match in W1 is really pale and I use it all the time because I'm very very very pale.

I have this issue myself and I find that Estee Lauder do a really fair one in "Shell" and also I've moved to MAC, which do NW10 which is also very pale. :) (They are on the expensive side, I struggled the find anything other than L'Oreal Infallible in Porcelain which were cheap)

Me too! The regular was okay (not the best for my dry skin appearance wise) and broke me out SOO bad. And the lumi was GARBAGE! It smelled bad, the texture was strange, super sheer, was cakey, clung to hair and dry flakes, and BROKE ME OUT AGAIN. This is why I spend lots of money on foundation. Cheap eye makeup/lipstick/blush is fine. Never give your skin second best!
Madison Silvers I totally agree!!! It looked really cakey, dry, and just nasty on my skin. The coverage was good, but it made my pores look HUGE and my skin looked so gross. Ew. I wish it worked for me... :/

It's crazy how people spend thousand upon thousands of dollars to look like barbie, yet you on your own look like her, I can't look a a thumbnail of yours and not have the idea of a real life barbie.
