  • If there has been a constant in Jennifer Dyson’s life it is surely her love of animals - and along the way she has redirected and changed her approach to agriculture in order to meet the challenges of modern farming. But her passion for the land and for protecting the future of farming has led her in another direction as well - working to ensure that her grandchildren and great-grandchildren have the same opportunity to experience the farming lifestyle and in the process transformation the face of BC's policymakers.

If you get to know a water Buffalo family well enough, the older ones would actually teach the little ones how to work for you when the old ones becomes a little too old to work.

Those water buffaloes are pretty small, only half size of what we have in my country. But our water buffaloes are in trouble because of Chinese are buying them with high prices.

You are mistaken if you think that you can abduct a Water Buffalo's calf and then milk her. Water Buffaloes are extremely sensitive animals, they are not milk giving machines like cattles. If they think that they are not enjoying their life or if they feel you are mistreating them you not going get any milk. That's why you don't find many Water Buffalo farms in the States.
