Wow I am so glad I saw this video. Bday coming soon and I want to do this to my hair thanks queen 👑💃🏿 thought I had to spend $150 to get this done...these grey's are popping out 🤦🏾♀️
Just the video I was looking for!!! im one year loc'd and ready for some color. other videos were doing adore dye and using developer(which I didn't wanna do) I pretty much wanted to do the same process you did but no other video showed it this way, it was either with developer or bleach and both for me is a no-no. I feel more confident now. thanks so much for sharing!
Ok loc loves. One year later and I’ve discovered developer is needed for a beach bum like myself. After watching this video, I went to the beach trying to live like Ariel and all my red faded🤦🏽♀️I’m more of a ginger now but I really want vibrant color. I think I should have waited instead of hitting the beach so soon. Happy locing🫶🏽
Lol yes the red will bleed when wet. If you wash out the dye thoroughly it won’t bleed as much. Any bright colour will fade whenever it gets wet or washed, that’s why I stopped with the red. The bright colors are so pretty though😩 I want to try ginger next but I’m not sure yet!
Hi! I am so happy I came across this video!! I have loc extensions and I’ve had them for a month. When I got my loc extensions I box dyed them before getting them installed. I was wondering how long should I wait to box dye them again ?
@@JenellJackson thank you! This was all I needed to hear. I am going to dye them today. I needed some reassurance because I don’t want to damage them in any way.
Even dying to much will cause damaged I say dye once a yr and add a rinse when or if you don't like the results . I can tell your locs are very damaged , you need to slow down with dying or they will break off .
so i bleached my dreads back in October and im thinking of going with this same color , is the dye permanent or semi-permanent ? and if they’re semi permanent how long would the color last ?
It’s semi-permanent. For how long it lasts depends on how often you wash your Locs. It can last up to 3 washes, after that it will look more pink and washed out.
Nxt time u do a touch up or relighten ur hair u should focus more of the dark Nd lovely on the ends more so they come out brighter my locs r barely reaching my shoulders Nd I used 2 boxes to fully get thru all of my locs Nd lighten my ends up since it’s hard wit locs
Omg you’re the best Jenell! Super excited to try this method out & can’t wait to show you the results !
Thank you! Ouuu I’m excited for you🙌🏽

You’re welcome ☺️ I’m so happy I can help!
Theres definitely bleach in box dye its a huge misconception people have that it doesn't
Same!! 💯💯💯
We all know there is but is a small percentage compared to full bleach people be using on their hair. So it would not damage your hair.
I trusted the process and this came out perfectly! I absolutely want to do this! Thank you for this video!
You’re welcome! And thank you☺️

i love the color on you look nice but what that purple stuff called
Okkkk so do fade resistant first then adore colors 😊 im coloring mine tomorrow thank youuu
You’re welcome. ☺️How did it go?
That's nice. What kind of lightener is that ?
It’s a blonde dye by dark & lovely
Does your hair have to be dry in order to dye your hair? Or can it be wet? Like after you wash it?
It’s better to have it dry, works better in my opinion/experience. Also you have to wash out the dye so it’s better to wash after washing out the dye.
Your hair look soo good I’m glad I came across this video
But I got a question do you think I could use any color??
Thank you. Yes you can do a different color than red as long as you do the blonde dye 1st.

Thank you so much for watching!☺️ you can dye them once a month or once every 2 months.

Hi, can you tell me what the light purple product is?
so i bleached my dreads back in October and im thinking of going with this same color , is the dye permanent or semi-permanent ? and if they’re semi permanent how long would the color last ?

And she’s back!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Do u have pics or video of how you do it?
Wow you make it so easy ....it came out well
Thank you hun!
Doesn’t the blonde box have bleach and harsh chemicals?
Nvm I googled the ingredients and it does have bleach power in along with other harsh ingredients 😩
Yes but not enough to damage your hair. Especially if you take care of your hair. Like keeping it moisturized.
Your hair is lovely!!
Thank you
What was that first project you use before you put the dye in
It was a luminous blonde dye.
How much is the dye and where can I find it I really need it😭
Sorry for the late reply. I’m in Canada so I get the dye from my beauty supply store and it’s around $8-$10
