DS2 was my first souls game and I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I unironically came to love the slow committal moves (aka jank) and the constant sense of danger caused by invaders (aka rampant cheaters and griefing).
Its an acquired taste, like the bluest of cheeses, and I cant fault anyone for hating it lol.

I got into souls games pretty late compared to most. I remember when I got into the series and I kept hearing the worst one was the second game. I was thinking it was like a FF8 situation. a mix of some good and bad. I saved it for last just in case so it wouldn't turn me off from the rest of the series.
Game was straight up BUNS 💀💀💀 but somehow I couldn't stop. If your enough of a sicko, you just end up rolling with the punches. I wish I was able to catch this live. At least I saw most of Sekiro live. I swear to do everything in my power to watch you play Bloodborne for sure though!
