THIS.... is The Band's Masterpiece. And only 4 of you brought this justice! Much Respect! NOT an easy song for anybody to do!
My favorite and little known song by the band. I think it’s probably possibly one of the greatest Canadian/American songs ever written and this was a wonderful rendition of it. We should be proud from one musician to another you are quite good at your craft.
Great video guys! Three excellent vocalists too! The bassist in particular - whoa! I want to hear more of her singing!
ありがとうございます!
This is a very hearty cover of one of my most favourite songs. I particularlly like the intro. and choras. Thank you for inspiring younger energy into this classic.
Acadian/ Cajun proud
Thank you for performing this. Great to see that "classics" will be picked up by "yunguns" and re-spread over the globe. Keep them coming, I'll be listening and loving it.
Wow, is all I can say. I’m an airline guy. Used to do layovers in St Pierre many years ago. More friendly people there these days.. Great music.
Excellent. Thank you!
RIP Robbie Robertson
You folks nailed it. Thank you.
absolutely killed this
Ya'll - this is the kind of video that just makes me smile and brings me joy! Thank you so much :)
Outstanding.
I can feel the passion in every voice, every pick of string. Incredible.
Nice job. Great song.
First heard you guys, doing a worthy cover of a Steely Dan tune. It's been a while... A.D. is one of my favorite The Band tunes, and just a favorite song in general, something about those chord changes just resonates with me. Thanks for posting, another interesting facet to this gem ~~~~~
てことはCOVID-19のおかげで聴けたんだ。ありがとう!
Love it guys! Huge The Band fan. Great version!
Beautiful.
This is amazing
I really enjoyed that. Thank you.
Fantastic
Beautiful guys!!!
Just saw this in my list, wow you did it real justice. Thank you! God Bless.
You guys rock! Beautiful rendition of a great song by The Band.
Just Lovely.. Shared...
Yeah, this is great ! Well done guys.
Very nice. 👏👏👏✌️
Always preferred this over The Weight as their best...
The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down is their best, but Acadian Driftwood is a close second.
Great job on a great song. Would be fantastic in your gigs with an into on the meaning. Look forward to hearing yall in person again. Stay well.
Most excellent folks! Thoroughly enjoyed your performance. It's the best I've seen outside of The Band. Would it be possible for you to explain to me your guitar tuning, and your fingering for this song? I've been wanting to learn it but most of the chording I've seen on UG and other vids looks more complicated than your way of playing it. Are you capo'd up? Is it standard tuning? If I could see the whole neck of your guitar in the video it would be a great help, but ANY help towards your tuning/chord progressions etc would be SOOOOO very much appreciated!
Don't mean to butt in, but it looks to me like he's in drop D tuning. Capo'd or not, I can't tell, but I know the original was done in Open D tuning and capo'd on the third fret, making it in F. There are YT videos on the drop D version, which is how JRR played it.
Correction. Robertson played it in Open D.
Sauber! Besser als das Original. Nichts gegen "The Band".
Second vocalist too low
