It works . I had a valve go on an EVO 400. My instant thought was to replace all 8 . I replaced the faulty tube & it sound extraordinary, not a problem .

Hi, I currently own the PrimaLuna DiaLogue Two. I thinking about upgrading. I learned that the EVO 100 is the 3rd generation of my unit. IDK for an extra $1,000. if it's worth it. The EVO 200, is $1,600. more than my used unit. I am confident that the EVO 200 will be a better overall performer than my current model. But I'm wondering if the new EVO 100 will provide an 'appreciable difference in sound performance' Both the new EVO 100 & 200 come with an amazing headphone amp which my current model doesn't have. Any thoughts regarding the costs of these products vs Performance? Thanks!
I have The 200 evo Power Amp . why ? well there is many situations that you might not like it. how loud you listen too music what is it that you prioritise in an amp ? ; power, refinement , accuracy etc...oh and what are your speakers room size . see, it never ends. i might like it you might not. but that's ok cause we sound system is so subjective and if don"t like an amp that you like it does not mean that its a bad amp. it is just presenting music differently. now you might be someone who is looking for accuracy and excellent measurement or maybe you want a little of coloration and personality in an amp sound ? see , it never ends : )
Given the size of the drivers we think you might want something with a little more power but it's not a combination we have personally tried so it's hard to say for sure. While I don't think we will get around to testing this for ourselves we will more than likely be trying the newly announced Silver 7G range once we have it in our hands.

The Totem Skytowers arent a speaker either of us has heard so unfortunately we don't know.
