These are great forecasts and I now conceptually appreciate how the jet stream effects the likely hood of low of high pressure over the UK. The question I would really love to better understand is what parameters affects the future jetstream prediction, what are the main parameters and can I keep an eye on the weather in a different part of the globe to create sense of the jet stream in the UK in x days time?
