Recipe for liquid soap paste
Coconut oil 400 g
kOH 103 g
Distilled water 103 g
Glycerin 103 g
Diluting the soap paste
Paste : Water = 1 : 1.5
Making the Jello Soap
Mix 100ml warm liquid soap to 2 pouch of Knox Gelatine, dissolved and leave in fridge for 1 hour.

Yes you could use instant gelatine. Follow the instructions in your gelatine box use the amount of liquid soap as the water in your gelatine instruction,

Do these need to cure for a length of time or are they ready for use immediately?
Hot process normally can be used right after you test the pH and it was ok. I did cure them in about one week while the soap paste was in the mixing cup. :)

what kind of coloring you use?food coloring?and how much gelatine in grams you use?
I used gel colorants specially for soaps. Don’t use food colorant for soap since they would fade easily.

What did you use to calculate the measurements of each ingredient? what's the method?
Liquid soap paste used the lye calculator for KOH. To dilute the paste is normally 1:2 or 1:1.5 paste vs water. Then you use the liquid soap as the amount of water to mix the jelly.

bonsoir . super recette et instructions très claires comme d'habitude. merci beaucoup. je n'ai pas cette marque de gélatine dans mon île des caraïbes. quelle est donc la quantité de gélatine qui est utilisée? peut on remplacer la gélatine par autre chose? et ces savons doivent ils être gardé au frais la température chez moi est de 30 ° au moins tous les jours? merci des réponses
Thank you for your comment. You could use any gelatine. Just follow your gelatine instructions. Use the same amount of liquid soap as water. And yes, it’s better to keep them cool, otherwise they might be melted.

Does the gelatine smell terrible? I made a jelly plate once and that smelt like a wet dog but 1000 times worse.

Yes, but the transparency of it might be different compared to the original recipe.

You could use vegan substitute for gelatine.
