Try adding 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg to your gravy. It is soooo good.

I know your channel intention is geared toward young people but I’m tempted to try my hand at your sausage gravy even at my age (seven decades on this rock), it looks delicious❗️ From Kentucky originally - summers spent on g-parent’s farm in Adair County - but Texan by adoption, low these many years later. Keep up the great food posts. If you ever decide to get fancy, maybe do a video on Kentucky Hot Brown (Brown Hotel, Louisville), or Bourbon Balls (Rebecca Ruth, Frankfort) or red-eye gravy. 👈

Thank you, for the compliments and great idea regarding the Ky Hot Brown. I had a bourbon ball recipe request earlier today, so I will definitely put that on my list. I hope you try the sausage gravy, its really easy and delicious. Let me know how it turns out.😄

@@TakeItUpaNotchAnn Here’s my little sister’s BB recipe. You didn’t ask for it but she’s a great cook too (Jassamine County):
Bourbon Balls (I double the recipe)
1 lb powdered sugar
3-4 TBLS softened butter
1/3 cup bourbon
1/2 cup chopped pecans (soak pecans in bourbon for an hour)

Combine sugar and butter. Add soaked pecans. Mix well and roll into balls. Chill (freezer for a bit)

In a double boiler melt 8 oz of chocolate chips, 2-3 squares unsweetened chocolate, and about 1/8 cup Paraffin wax shavings. Dip the balls in chocolate, place on wax paper & chill.
