🐠 DRY AGE IN CAVIAR!! 🐠
14 MONTHS IN A ROE! 1 YEAR+
COMMENTING ON ALL YOUR VIDEOS.
COME ON GUGA! LETS GOOO! :)
guga's rub dry age when :)
B wins and that's not even my extreme bias In play cuzz I like guga more than nick but just from the food standpoint B is better 👌
We only live physically once so we shouldn’t be afraid to do anything bro, i smoke weed on my RUclips channel and i do food videos too, screw anyones opinion brotha😪
You need to do a super improved steak challenge. So you can only use grocery store select or choice, so common stuff and no special cuts. And you have to use all the things you learn from experiments to make a steak that punches up above it's grade class. And you could do this by making you and the guys each make a steak based on what they think would work best.
Let's all be honest here, mine looked like sh*t.
At least it would taste good
omg nick cursed lol
yes but you're being creative and the fear of ridicule and doing something stupid/wrong reduces creativity, and soul creativity is the corner stone of authentic expression
wth happened
It wasn’t thaaaat bad
"Now I'm gonna add a *little* bit of butter"

Gronk!
The part of guga accidentally grabbing the hot handle of the pan just makes me feel so much better about myself knowing someone even as amazing as guga still does this 😂
Agreed, you can tell he’s been in a lot of kitchens from that moment too.
Even monkeys fall from trees
I like being able to watch guga cook from this angle. Nice change once in a while from the usual overheads.
love how they still hype each other up and keep the competition supportive, it’s much more fun to watch that way!
And still chirping each other all the way through
@@jacksonmilton-owens6344 😂😂
Because your soft
both of those plates look like they would deliver some ripping diarrehea.
ABSOLUTEEEELLLY
Nick: 70% cooking, 30% talking and joking around
Guga: 20% cooking, 80% trying to find something
They are both experimental and thats what I like about them
Guga is they steak king

Guga on this
When i was reading this comment guga a looking for something
I love the playful banter between Guga and Nick. It's heartwarming and smile inducing
Do you think there’s something going on between the two of them?
@@CC-dx6bc Friendship and bro-mance lmao
Nicks “it is enough talking, now let’s do it” was hilarious . Love how nice and innocent Guga is. Hats off to you sir..
I love how Nick pronounced it properly as "doo weit".
5:39 “Now I’m gonna add a little bit of butter…”
Proceeds to add a whole stick of butter 😂 This is why we love you Guga
If that's "a little bit of butter"
I'm scare what happened if he add a huge amount of it
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You guys genuinely looked like you were having fun in this video. That’s great to see. I’d love to see Guga’s steak with Nick’s lobster cream sauce on top 🤔
Id like to see guga's steak with Nick's lobster cream turned into a compound butter. 😆
I’d like to see Gugas meat with Nicks cream sauce on top too

@@Zerschnetzler 😂
I'd like to see guga real meat
I love how much info you put in the description; thank you so very much for producing such a great product!
Two of my favorite chefs going head to head! And I’m a Japanese that is fussy as heck when it comes to food. And I am really really impressed. Hats off to both of you.
As a Korean, born and raised, Guga’s pronounciation of 고추장 is spot on. There is an old rice fermented yogurt called EeHwaJu 이화주 and I think it will be great sous-vide or dry age etc. Hope Guga tries it.
guga said gochujan
Where do I buy that and how do u spell it in English
@@ketokarbs3671 it's Gochujang = 고추장 and it should be available in a korean store or maybe try your luck in asian marts or just general marts overall

Omy word. All these years I thought he was brazilian 😆 🤣 😂
Gugas dish definitely looked nicer and I’m certain the flavors combined for a more unique and interesting taste but Nicks creation was pretty unique and interesting as well. I’d love to try a little of both. You guys are awesome working together.
Nick is a great cook but Guga is just a master of cooking beef. He has all these absolutely nuts experiment videos but when he wants to actually make something proper he absolutely crushes it. He's in a league of his own when it comes to steak.
I honestly love watching these two together. So funny, just soothes my anxiety
i swear to god guga one of the funniest dudes on earth. this man mixing his compound butter while nick goin all out is gold
Guga: "I'm going to add a little bit of butter"
Also Guga: *Puts in almost a whole stick of butter.*
I was looking for this comment
Him and 2 shots of Vodka lady would get along great 😅
Yo Nick's was MAD creative! I like the idea of a meat lava cake and the thought of a lobster cream sauce literally had me drooling. The end product looked a little messy but I'd still smash! But nothing beats a tried and true Guga Steak! Perfect looking crust, perfect pink, things that you can taste with your eyes! This looked like a lot of fun to do. Thanks for this!
Functionality over creativity when it comes to my food. Had he made it as well cooked as Gougas then sure, maybe Gouga can even do what Nick did but better since he knows meats
Yeah smash too
simplicity is gugas thing man his food always makes my stomach rumble id for sure slam that lava cake but id pick gugas 10/10 times
ill behonest i would eat both but for some reason after reading your comment i cant help but see a puss pocket leaking out of the steak now!
Great video! Love the collab and humor between the both of you! Do more vids like this! 😊
This is just so much fun. You guys had a lot of great chemistry and the food prep was a blast to watch
When Guga said “We don’t sensor” I immediately hit the like button.
But they do. They censor swear words.
@@feralguyver That’s just to stay monetized sir.
@@feralguyver Yes out of necessity. They never censor to preserve somebody else's frail feelings and i respect that.
@@meat1533 dude, what do you think the point of censoring swears is for?
Sensitive feelings of people who don't like swears.
@@feralguyver no they censor swear cause YT demonetizes if you swear
Nicks “it is enough talking, now let’s do it” was hilarious 😂
That put me on my ass 😂😂
this is one of my favorite videos I've seen in a while. love yals collabs
I love how they are in competition but yet they compliment each other and stay focused at the task at hand which is to win! But I love both of them to be honest!
8:28 the way Manny's just holding the fork and knife really up high like a little kid about to dig in his first ever happy meal, so wholesome!
“Just a little bit of butter”
*throws the entire stick*
This is probably the only time you'll catch me smiling this much by watching guys. LoL. But their methods are amazing and their interactions are amazing and the resulting food looks awesome!!!! I love it!
I love these types of food videos. Food battles were something I kind of grew up with when my Dad was constantly watching Iron Chef. It's cool to see two of my favorite YT channels making a video like this. More food wars please.
Also got'dayum Guga been hitting the gym? He's looking healthy af.
Loved that look on Nick's face at 4:36 when he tried Guga's potatoes. Like "I'm gonna lose this"
man i love this kind of videos, they're so personal. keep delivering them
i love everything about this. Please keep it coming.
3:12 Guga: Balls where are your balls Nick
Excellent on camera chemistry. Keep collaborating! They’re a blast to watch.

"GRAB ME THAT PIECE OF MEAT"

"I SAID GRAB ME THAT PIECE OF MEAT"
Just an awesome video guys. You two work together well and it's easy to see the competition but most of all the friendship...
i love every time they make content together
Wow. The chemistry between them in the kitchen is absolutly phenomenal. Very entertaining to watch , 10/10 . I laughed my a** off and the recipes and food were as always looking mouth -watering. Thumbs up.
They are both so supportive during each of their collabs. Cant wait for future videos!
Just love watching these 2 good guys making food. They are developing a circle of funny, entertaining and excellent chefs. I don't eat steak, but I still learn a lot about cooking from these guys and get some laughs too. Both winners IMO!
That was actually a very fun video!! You guys are awesome
I like how you both try things you have never done before.
I think its very satisfying to gamble a bit in the kitchen and see how it turns out :)
8:04 when she too good and you can't hold back any longer
Fr no sh!t
I love the banter between you guys.
I like how Guga's little bit of butter is enough to sustain the industry.
The battle theme is a nice idea. What do you think about using the same ingredients for the next time? The twist would be trying to cook two meals that look as different as possible
Dear Guga,
Please make a seperate channel for all the side dishes that you have made (and will make). Your side dishes deserve its own channel!
Like this so Guga can see.
He already has that it’s just “guga”
no, no, no, we come for the steak, stay for the side dish.
it won't feel the same if there a different channel for it.
@@christophertate2099 nope the guga channel is for YT shorts he still posts mostly main dishes on that channel
@@veasnatdm4861 I just want an easy way to find all the side dishes instead of having to skip to the side dish in the normal episodes.
I enjoyed this and the funny rivalry . Love yah both.

nice refresh I liked this one it's always fun to watch you two haha but yes Nick..... presentation is key!
I love the energy, they literally act like brothers
Ah, man I wish I could try that food. Looks amazing!
I already liked Guga and I think he makes fun and creative vids but my respect for him just tripled when he didn’t censor the lobster ofc you have to leave that in its part of it and it’s humanly dispatching a food animal if someone is offended by that then stay mad bc no one can help you and we’re not censoring it for you

Guga is just a likeable guy.
Yeah I could've understood if there was excessive blood or gore or being concerned over YT's weird vague every frame has to be family friendly policy but it was a quick cut, no liquid. I don't like watching food animals die even tho they're delicious but Nick wasn't brutalizing the lobster.
I Like the whole Cook-Off idea ! It made for a more diverse showing of how Good Steaks or other proteins can be elevated into something new and Delicious ! Good Show ! 😋
More!...Just more of this please Guga!
This is going to be real epic! I really loved when a Gourmet Chef Collab with Meat Expert, they'll be creating the most wonderful dishes ever!
Honestly you both did a great job! Nick had a little more creativity and experimentation-which is great to have!-but in this head to head, Guga’s expertise and sticking to what he knows tastes best worked in his favor.
thats why experiments are better made when you are by yourself
great chemistry and dynamic between the two.
Hey guga, loved the video, you should ask nick a part 2!
So proud of Nick to come back to challenge another RUclipsr after his embarrassing defeat against Masterchef Charlie
and that is certainly how you become a great chef. you don't take a loss with shame but as a learning experience, and you continue to challenge yourself with others again. loved this video!
I'm glad that Nick is on the mend and has regained full function of his legs after how hard his cheeks got clapped by Masterchef Charlie
0:44 now let's do it
I love how they don't even need to explain, they get right into it.
You both rock!! But seriously, everytime Guga says "a little bit of butter" 🤣🤣🤣🤣 i just roflmao, he puts the whole stick 🤣🤣🤣🤣 keep it coming Guga and Nick, imma have to try that lava experiment.
If I had to choose one, honestly, I think it would be Nick's purely because it's two for the price of one. I love Wagyu and I love lobster.
I think Guga edged ahead on the presentation though, which came as a surprise. Surely that should have been Nick's speciality regardless of the meal?
Great video, great friendly rivalry, great food.
More collaboration videos in the future please. With side dishes. 😁
I agree.
I love lobster so I think Nick’s dish would’ve gotten my vote. I was actually eating a bowl of lobster bisque as I was watching this so it made me just imagine that delicious creamy lobster, mashed potato and steak mmmm 🤤 but Gaga’s presentation was definitely prettier like they said. Great job guys I love both of your channels you are amazing!!!
I would 100% watch a cooking show between this 2
Goat content right here
What a fricking Collab! Brilliant! You boys rock! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Always great to see inventive and interesting things between 2 great chefs, especially you Guga
Also Guga you gotta do a ceviche or even another steak tartare but don’t use filet using flank is a secret that’ll give you extra bite but still be tender and delicious
7:19 👀 thats what she said
love both these guys!
would be honored to taste either one of their awesome food!
Crazy good dishes! Well done!
2 best chefs on RUclips, keep it up u guys are the best 👍👍
Two of my favorite cooks and they're having a steak battle 2 nothing could be better
I love these 2 together
Guga, your plate looked absolutely AMAZING! I would give about anything to try one of your foods you are a great chef🤤💯
I love guga’s confidence in the kitchen, that can only be achieved with that kind of skill and experience
Nick and Guga roasting each other the whole time made this so much more enjoyable to watch lmao.

The somewhat uncanny but beautiful surprise of seeing Angel and Manny together in the same video trying the food
Edit: Ultra mandela effect he wasn't Angel but still
That wasn't Angel
That was Leo
@@thedarkgreenmarine2100 WHY DID I THINK he was Angel
Boa tarde Guga! Thank you for your video! May I ask a few questions about how you prepared your steak?
1. When you seared it in the pan, did you use oil? If so what kind?
2. For the first butter basting, did you use salted or unsalted butter?
3. For the compound butter, did you use salted butter?
4. I plan on trying this in a cast iron skillet: can i keep the steak in the skillet and put the whole thing in the oven?
5. after you put the compound butter on top of the steak, how long did you keep it in the oven after that?
Thank you so much!
Guga reminds me of your friends dad that’s so chill and cooks the most fire food
This went from a steak battle…
to a steak WAR! 🥩🥩🥩
So what I've learned is, Guga if you're hungry, Nick if you're fancy.
Wow the level of composer at 3:04 is amazing. He didnt let any expletive out. Guga is a man of class. Held in his pain.
had so much fun watching thank you for "Now Les Doit" ing it!! 😂❤❤❤
I think Guga edges out on this for me. In terms of presentation, they both had their strengths, Guga’s was more of a classic steak anyone could enjoy, while Nick’s is one of those fancy Instagram dishes, and I must say the idea or a lava cake steak is amazing, especially since I love lava cake. But for taste, purely by looks I think Guga’s is a bit better since it is an upgraded steak, its simle yet if done right beats many things while Nick’s is a bit messier and because of all the things there, the flavors might clash with each other which might be why ppl don’t put creamy things with steak, but like I said, this is purely by looks. As always, it was a great vid and the collab made it even better and after looking at those steaks, I’m starving
Creamy things with steak is rather common, one of THE most common steak sauces is a creamy mushroom sauce lol.
@@Ishlacorrin oh right, l completely forgot sauces existed when I was writing this comment
10:11 Not to be insensitive in any way but I thought Guga was Mexican.
I thought he was Mexican and white mix🫣
i thought he was Brazilian, which in another video he said he was
*Best collab ever!!*
I love your content bro! Keep up the surprises and good work! Now enough talking 💪🏽

Nick, that lava cake steak idea was superb. What a splendid surf and turf idea with that lobster cream inside. Might just have to steal that and make it one of these days.

Drawing parallels from your video with Nate with the welll done steaks, maybe you could do a steak tartare experiment. the objective is to determine which cut of steak ( of the same grade) tastes best as tartare.
The duo I didn’t think I needed to see
