Not so sure a bolt on exists: forged pistons? Compression changes? Tune or engine remap? You cant just add pressure (of significance) - i suspect that bit is left out the snippet, but very little info in this clip.

Totally agree with u . Maybe off camera or in full episode he swap out the stock MAP sensor to a turbo MAP sensor. Possibly from 1bar sensor to a 1.5 sensor doesn't need tuning bcoz the ECU can still read it? I've seen few guys on track swap out the stock oil pump to a higher pressure oil pump to avoid oil starvation around corners when on spirited driving regardless turbo or not.
torque is more important in fast car than horsepower. Horsepower looks great on paper, but torque is what gets you out of corners quicker and will give you a better lap time around a track.

Hp is a measure of work, torque*time=work. 100nm at 3000rpm makes less work than 51nm at 6000rpm even though the torque Is lower, because if you gear down the latter you get 102nm at 3000rpm. That also means high hp race engines produce more torque, not as a static measure of engine max torque, but rather in max attainable torque through gear ratios.
