The Bloodlines are not separate clans. They are supposed to be put on top of an existing clan once the vampire reaches Blood Potency 3. The Malkovians are a Ventrue Bloodline.

Awesome! I have so many stories from my parents from playing this. My mother's character actually took over the Tremere family (Not an official takeover, she just made the leader of the family completely subservient to her.) in the official lore of The Camarilla, and both my father and my mother were part of the leading group at one point or another. Lots of awesome stories, it'll be great to see what ones you make.

When factories process pig for butchering and box them up they can't tell the difference between pig rump and pig shoulder. Because the anatomy of the pigs is similar in both instances. So they label is shoulder rump

I’m actually planning on introducing my D&D group to world of darkness through an US game. Possibly making a relatively short(ish) story that would introduce the players to some of the basics and then they can decide later if they want to make a new character for Vampire (or werewolf, I’ve got both) or just have their US character become embraced.
Lore-Wise, Requiem and Masquerade have their strengths and weaknesses. I never got on with the system in the New World Of Darkness, though. Never really seemed to work as well as it ought.
Hell, I love Nika since the first wordplay, I'm gonna enjoy this series Mathas, one little thing, you should put your book in front of you so you don't put your head that down, it looks awful

Since they were finding bloodlines in their rulebooks (bloodlines were removed from the 2nd edition rulebook), and the sheets still have Vice and Virtue (which was changed to Mask and Dirge in 2nd edition), it must be 1st edition, which is a shame because 2nd edition is far superior. It's strange that they're not using 2nd edition considering the whole "you should always use the latest edition" thing they went on about near the beginning.
In Requiem, I don't think there really is an equivalent, in original world of darkness the closest would be probably be a Tzmisce (several clans lay claim to Dracula, but Transylvania is their traditional homeland) with high Vicissitude and possibly some out of clan Obtenebration. Just don't expect to be able to walk around in the day.
Kind of, you needed permission of the Prince, and different Princes were more or less permissive. Cities with a large Kindred population almost always have a blanket ban on siring

Yes!!! Dear satan YES! This bothered me so much!!! Bloodlines are not outcasts, they're a bloodline within a clan.
The fact that they're using 1e hurts me so much. 2e is better in literally every way, including all the the Disciplines Nika was complaining about.

I think a good way to make your vampire is to first define what the character was like as a human.
