- It was only from the third attempt that AMD was able to release the best gaming processor for AM5 - the Ryzen 5 7500F. Can it overclock memory? How big is the difference with the 7600X? AM5 is going to be the best platform ever in 3-4 years when all these 7000 series CPU's are dirt cheap.
exactly, if I want to upgrade to 7000 series, I'll have to upgrade motherboard and ram as well. Now at least for me, the current prices in our place still doesn't justify the performance uplift over my 5600x so I'm staying until it got better prices.
im definately going to upgrade, im just waiting the right moment to snipe it out, I have the cash, im just dissatisfied with the top dog from AMD, so it will be some less expesive processor. Atleast it wont fail me at price per performance.

I have this processor and msi pro a620m-e motherboard but i m first time use r ho ryzen plate from when i turn on the pc mjy motherboards stuck few seconds and and my gpu fans runn full speed then after 20 to 30 second my pc on so please guide me it normal or i have to change some bios settings because when i was on intel plate form its never happend and on 10 seconds my pc on

Overclocking wise i guess i should do it on mine because on my 7500f the max stock temp is only 65°C (all cores at 95-100%)
Hello MK nice video. I wanted to know if someone wants to build a decent low budget ddr5 pc for gaming / light productivity right now which components would you recommend. And should they go with ddr5 or would you still recommend ddr4 system for low budget.

I'll be playing mmorpgs mainly specifically a game called phantasy star online 2 new genesis, it's on steam you can check it out to get an idea how it may perform on the system. And i'll be doing productivity like photoshop, after effects and light video editing and some game streaming. And i'll be using a 165hz 1080p monitor for gaming and a 1440p ultrawide for productivity. Thank you very much.

My 7500f seems to struggle in time spy with a score of only 9300. I expected above 11000. I enabled expo in bios. What could be the reason?

Hi, did you test to overclock 7500f using the A620 board? If yes, could it be the factor that the overclocking is not going well? I saw several other videos that they are testing at least using b650 and oc it through ryzen master with 5.5 ghz 1.25v and it runs just fine. Also A620 based on the AMD website is not support ryzen overclocking.

the box version is rare to find and much more expensive than the tray version. Better buy the tray version and a 20$ cooler with at least 2 heatpipes (something like the Freezer 7 from Arctic is the minimum I would use with this CPU)
like the other guy said just buy a tray version. I recommend a se cooling 214 or a darkrock px4 cooler for this. should be good?
Ryzen master app can easily overclock this to 5.2 ghz.
Value is insane 6 cores for 160$ and 7700x 8 core is 330$.

@@yourworstnightmare9893 What I would recommend is just enabling PBO in the bios, set cpu boost clock override to +200mhz and set curve optimizer to negative and all cores -20. This is basically guaranteed to be stable and will offer a nice performance boost and lower temperatures over stock.

This so-called "next generation" era hardwares are the purest marketing success I have ever seen.
If I could have found the 7500F from major retailers like Amazon / Newegg I would have bought it if it was $160 or less. The 7600X was only $199 so the higher clocks and iGPU was a worthwhile purchase at $199. I have two 7600x/6700XT in matching Silverstone Media PC's both with Gskill CL30 6000MT ram and solid mid ranged AM5 boards.
Do you have xmp or expo on those ram? I am not able to run my ram @ 6000 without crashing
@@apoorvbelsare9594Yes using EXPO on most of them. I have tried running some 6400MT CL32 Trident ram and was getting stress test errors in Prime95. Once I used the exact timings of my Trident 6000MT CL30 expo ram the errors went away. So in my experience 6000 cl30 has worked no problem with only 2 sticks. 4 sticks doesn’t work well at all.
R5 7500f and a620 motherboard
Does pairing r5 7500f with a620 cause any potential loss of the CPU? Or should I just go for the b650?
650 allow undervolting - musthave if you have problems with temp of Cpu
650 also allows CPU overclocking. The 620 only lets you overclock the memory afaik...

hi sir, i have the same cpu, i just noticed something, my cpu while i'm in games doesn't reach the max clock speed like you 5050mhz, my cpu stay at 4.8ghz rarely hit 5050, and my temp is low like not hitting above 55c, any ideas sir?

Update bios then Update amd chipset for your CPU, now you have to get in to bios and enable PBO then PBO negative curve-30 all cores, now increase +200Mhz in PBO, at PBO you will find a scale says auto change to manually and use x10 to make sure CPU stays on boost speed so long as possible then you should use Motherboard limits when it comes to PPT, TDC, EDC.
Now your CPU will boost one core and multicore depending on how good your cooler is.
So which oneis best?

For me, even doing -30 PBO doesn't lower the temp, power consumption is always the same... It dropped about 10w on your CPU. Any idea why is it like that? :/
Example 5800X3D I have.
PBO negative curve-30 all cores downgrade from 130W to 115W and my all cores 4.1Ghz went to 4.4Ghz, then I increase PBO scale from auto to x10 and BLCK from 100/auto to 102 and getting 4.54Ghz all cores on load and idle.
With undervolt and overclock I went down by 15C temp.
Idle at 40C becuze of 3D-cash technology and gaming temp at 72C.
You may have bad cooler or even do something wrong

Heck you can even pair the R5 7500F with an RX 7900 XTX if you play at 1440p or 4K.
what if I play in 1080? I have the opportunity to buy a cheap 7900XT

I know am5 is future proof but can someone tell me how strong is the ddr5 against ddr4?
If we pick ddr4-3600Mhz 16cl vs ddr5-6000Mhz 30cl difference will be minimal like 1% fps better in gaming overall.
Some game can benefits from memmory clocks but most does not.
my cheap laptop 5600h does 660+ single clock and it has only one ram ..... 8gb. if my laptop was am5 it would be double price for a not noticble result....

you lost the silicon lottery. mine can hit 5.5ghz stable. was it worth it? not over 5.45ghz. at 5.45ghz mine never goes above 85 c in cinebench on the 10 minute mode using a thermalright phantom spirit
what do you use for testing stability?
The sweet spot is the 7600 non-x, that was obvious from the start, I was an early adopter of the 7600, do I feel ripped-off? Not in the slightest, if I wanted to be ripped off I would buy intel "14th" gen. My 7600 with 6000 DDR5 gives 14500 in Cinebench R23 multi processor.

@@klooomy1520 The 7600 has iGPU. Meaning if your pc was to stop working, you can remove your gpu and try the iGPU to see if the problem lies with your gpu or not.

сколько не уговаривай себя 7500 не дотягивает до 7600х! там не просто ограничения в частоте, ты умолчал об многих аспектах которые 75 не поддерживает в принципе! начиная с оперативки и заканчивая ценой! 75 хороша, но не подойдёт тем кто слушает этого автора.
Чего там с оперативной не так? Ставишь 6000-6400 МГц и ужимаешь тайминги, чё напридумывал?
