I am really struggling to find a relatively cheap microphone that I can use for my workout videos to use with my android phone camera. I have a microphone with a lead which I use for when I am introducing but it is clearly not practical when doing exercise. Any thoughts?
Hey Oggie. You may find that getting a Rode brand or some equivalent of microphone makes the most sense. I’m not familiar with using microphones with cell phones but it looks like the Movo VXR10 could work. These two are for sitting on a desk, not attaching to a camera.
I got the exact microphone, and I can confirm. Mic quality is suspiciously good. Also, I think I screwed up and screwed the shock mount a little too hard, and now the little golden part from the arm is stuck to the shock mount, maybe I can get it off.
#1 Those are side-address microphones and it looks like you're speaking into the top. #2 The Yeti should be in cardioid mode. #3 You're speaking into the side (not front) of the Yeti. How about a follow-up review?
@@parkerrex In that case you were speaking into the side rather than the front... where the mic is. Might want to confirm the FIFINE is setup properly too. Good luck!
Hi Luis, to be honest, this model is not designed for ASMR, though it can work, it just cannot be as good as a Yeti in that aspect. But if your main use is ASMR and you need a budget one, then you can take a look at the K690 instead, which has a stereo and omnidirectional pickup pattern for ASMR. amzn.to/3k05doC
@@parkerrex T669 is Cardoid mic. Not omnidirectional. If you have Yet set to Omnidirectional, sure, you can test it standing like that, but if you wanted a fair comparison, should have put it to it's cardoid setting, so they are both on equal ground.. And then actually speak into them. You not have T669 facing your desk. The mic does not recieve sound from the top of it, but from the side. Where the volume dial is. That's the face of it and that's where it should be spoken into.
There's a floppy disk on your desk. Are you old enough to be my uncle?
Just kidding!
Hahaha it’s a coaster to put drinks on so my desk doesn’t get messed up
Nice comparison of the FIFINE T669 and the Yeti. Thank you for your great review Parker!👍
Glad you liked it 👍

WOAH! I was not expecting that comparison. I totally agree, that Fifine is "suspiciously good"! Dope review!
Kiersten Seaburg Glad you liked it Kiersten :) Hardware needs an upgrade but the sound quality is solid.

Jared E I love this - I think that’s a good idea..... Do you have one?
Jared E Also I believe it is in cardioid mode. The one that looks like a heart.

Thanks Jared 👍👍. Do you have a yeti? How’d you learn so much about microphones?
For asmr. which is better?

No clue
You really pointed both of the mics to your desk and did the audio test like that. It's not how either of those mics work.
What should i do? I can redo the vid

Are you still satisfied with fifine t669 after almost a year ?
Video is very good, but background music over exposed
Got it. Thanks
The yeti is a side address microphone. You need to speak into it properly.
Will do!
