It is official, The Division 3 is now in the works, I think it's a great idea to talk about some of the things I personally would like to see in the game.

Must have is changing seasons and particularly winter season with snow and snowfall. I like that in Division. Not must have but what about helping shelters and what they are in need of, those that have been open before you enter into the timeline and those you help so they can open to the public. Maybe not a weekly thing, as it would be a chore, but you have to get an items (wires, battery, containers for food storage, playing cards or games, footballs, basketballs, stuffed animals for kids, books, plates, utensils etc.) that is deep inside hostile territory. That gives you bonus points in good will, or sell the items will not take away points but it will not add any new ones. If you gave a clothing item to a specific npc character you would see it on them, after a few seconds or something like that. I am currently playing Starfield and there are much more items you can collect in that game.
The winter weather is a MUST.

Add new cities. Add classified exotic gear sets, underground bases, Add outposts you can customize. Then add an enemy that all fear paranormal creatures at night.
I'd say add changing seasons, add hunters to hunt agents, defend the HQ against attacks, and bring back all the gear from 1 and 2 along with classified gear sets.
I always wanted to have a K9 Skill for the Division. And yes the break point injury scheme would be awesome. Sadly I want less Tech as I feel the Black Tusk is a bit lazy as they just throw air busts Dogs and Drone, its not more challenging. I would also like this to make 3 a 1.5, bring us back to the first game and handle the story from 1 into two, explain why nobody trusts the Division in 2.
Survivial as a standalone mode is fine but it needs to stay out of the main game. The core mechanics of both games are fine, broadly speaking. What they need to do is nail the atmosphere and bring back some of the sense of recoil from the first game. If they lean too hard in to survival they will lose a lot of players, likewise if they lean too hard into a Breakpoint style game it wont be a Division game. They need to go back to a single Dark Zone as well. I am not one of thoae people who wants to see a "PvE Dark Zone" but perhaps they could have PvP enabled areas within the DZ and areas where it is not enabled.
Not a hunger meter and thirst meter. I hate those kind of games
They should change the Darkzone in asking if you want to go in PvP or PvE. If they don't do that then its not worth for Me to buy it!
That's what the open world is for what would be the point in having a dz? Imo they should let the loot drop in open world and make the dz bit more like survival in div1

I would love it if they could get a vendor/quest giver where you could choose your reward. And maybe bring back tech from the enemy to upgrade base defenses. Drones or those doggies.

Did they ever actually have the mobile play where a player could be a drone? Remember that in one of the trailers but dont remember seeing it in game...
Make it a good offline story
The game as it is today is full of bugs i hate to imagine how bad it would be if they make it more complicated.
Full of bugs? There's some silly bugs but nothing game breaking and not enough for me to say "full of bugs"
...must have a better dev team and health regen in some way (talent or mod)!

There is only 1 thing Massive needs to do with Div3... Remove PVP or remove PVE from the game completely. It doesn't matter which one, but Massive has proven time and time again that they do not have the brain power to allow both modes to exist in the game at the same time.
Sounds like ya'll don't want a looter shooter. Sounds like ya'll want to play Day-Z. Why not just play a survival game instead of wanting to completely change a well established game/genre?
Your right brother the first 2 wasn't perfect but it was good keep making it better not start all over and start from scratch because now it will be the division survival part with a bunch of bug
@pac-man-ooo5520 I don't have an issue with survival games. I have tons of hours in scum/rust/conan. I love survival games. But I also like looters shooters like division/defiance/warframe. They're completely different types of games for a reason.
@@pac-man-ooo5520 The division already has a clunky inventory management system of its own. Imagine trying to blend survival elements with that. It would be terrible. Like you said.

Keep note that what is being done in Division Resurgence is a beta test for Div 3. They want to benefit form a mobile game but also implement features that weren't applicable in Div 1 and Div 2 such as solo player DZ selection, Players appearing in Light Zone activities outside Base or Safe Houses, Stealth, Fast traveling with the chopper in DZ with the contaminated Loot. Might be wrong but if it happens you heard it here :).
