Good to see you vlog the Lynton & Lynmouth Cliff Railway there Andy it sure does look amazing and still working for a railway system this old - Nice 1 mate 👍
Great vlog Andy always like to see Tilly in your vlogs if I’m in the area I’d like to visit there I don’t know if you’ve visited the Bridgnorth cliff railway it’s very much similar but doesn’t run on water and Bridgnorth is a lovely town and not to far away from me , thanks again Andy and always looking forward to your next one 🐾
We were there last summer. Beautiful hot sunny day. Sorry 😂 If you go back you should also try the putting green down beside the river. Lots of fun. And there’s a couple of great ice cream parlers near the lift entrance 😉
Another great quirky travel vlog. Andy if you think about and get chance, any chance of a post after stay review, of the accommodation on leaving, be great to hear your thoughts on the places you stay. BTW what a lovely part of the country. I really enjoy these travel blogs and its nice to see Lisa in them and of course tilly 😉👍
Well put it this way we won’t be staying at that hotel again lol 😂 and tbh this wasn’t really a travel vlog as such it was more of an added extra showing the hotel and the room as we had not seen it ourselves
Cheers for recording, sharing your experience of this cliff railway, love vintage and one day hope to travel & explore these places with family or friends. Noticed on a sign a.k.a poster on the bin there is a nearby miniature railway? After visiting RH&DR, might be worth visiting that railway? Just a suggestion? Its a smaller gauge I think or it might be same size? Not really sure? But yeah, cheers again & look forward to new travel content in future. 😀👍
@@Coaster_Crazy, Looked at it a.k.a the narrow gauge railway this afternoon & found it doesn't go that far which is a shame. Hopefully one day it goes the full route, but this is likely to not happen in our lifetimes. Most likely add a few new stations in our lifetimes, but yeah still would be good to extend further. But I guess will have to wait & see? But be good if was extended, at least for the railway itself. Still a good railway by what I searched about it, but to grow and attract more people? Maybe an extension would be good? Cheers again. :)
Hi Andy just been watching your vlogs from Devon. Was a bit confused?, because in your second vlog from Lynton you said you were going to go to the Milky Way Adventure park but it was too late. Then in your first vlog you were at the Milky Way saying you were then going to stay in Lynton and you had just driven 3 hours or so to get there to the park. Then it appears that both vlogs were filmed on the same day. Great vlogs as usual if a bit confusing.
Have you ever watched 'the architecture the railways built' with Tim Dunn? This features on one of the episodes and explains fully how this wonderful railway works
Good Job it's not coal powered as price would be doubled. We are coal merchant's in Wales. Let me know in future if coal powered attraction's rise in price or if they are no longer in operation
Great vlog this one Andy actually prefer these vlogs something different, and as I have two dogs nice to know hotels are available for us dog lovers and we aren’t excluded, may be on a good thing with taking Tilly with you showing what’s available. Btw still disagree with your opinion on boba fett Series thought it was the nuts, basically opened the whole Star Wars universe back open again, looking forward to obi wan, best thing that happened to Star Wars Disney grabbing it,ignoring the poor casting of the movies they made.
stayed in that hotel a few years ago on a sheering coach holiday trip and did not enjoy my stay there food was more like ready meals and their was just a bad feel round the hotel and staff room was fine might of change management since then loved the area but experience and atmosphere in the hotel was not the best
This is a great stream, I also love stuff like this, thanks andy, another place for me to visit. Always love your vlogs, plaese don't stop.
Yeah it’s definitely worth a visit and thanks 😊
Ammzing

Great vlog Andy and shame it was raining. 🎢🎡
Really enjoy this (much more than theme parks - sorry!) Town tours and National trust properties please!

Sounds amazing 🤩
Great Vlog Andy
There is also another cliff railway in Folkestone UK what also runs on water.
I will have to check it out
Love stuff like this!
You should head down to Southampton/Hythe to check out the Hythe Pier train, oldest continually running pier train in the world!
Oh thanks, first I’ve ever heard about it
Wicked 🙂🙂🙂
Love it there but was so busy in the summer tho very very busy qued nearly 40 mins for railway. Watermouth castle theme park not far away.
Yeah I actually wanted to go to Watermouth Castle but they don’t allow dogs so went here and Milky Way instead

Yes we drove past the railway and yes it’s a narrow gauge

Yes it was the same day however it was supposed to be 2 different days lol it confused me also so you’re not alone

There's one in folkestone and one in Hastings, folkestone doesn't operate anymore
There’s 2 in Hastings
@@Coaster_Crazy I didn't know that will have to look into it
Ah that's good
Woop
As a local to the Milky and Big sheep it's "Linmuff"
Just incase your viewers don't know, Lynmouth was wiped out in a major flash flood in the '60s? (like Boscastle in the 2000's?).
@@TurboTimsWorld oh dear didn’t know that

Yeah it felt so odd in the hotel, for such a big place there only seemed to be around 10 staff lol
I deliver to there
Cool 👍🏻👍🏻
ive been before
It's not pronounced lynMOUTH, it's pronounced LynMUTH
I’ll bare that in mind for next time lol thanks ☺️
