Just like every single art forms known across this world, every time there is a new type of art that nobody understands they always think it's there for bad intentions. I am so glad that I can see around my neighborhood looked at as what it truly is. Which is Street art!

Thank you Ariel and the PBS crew for this opportunity to talk about this beautiful and yet misunderstood art form especially from a women's perspective. GW2 is more than a crew we are a sisterhood who engages the people in our productions and participates in community service events. We acknowledge all aspects of graffiti from its roots in vandalism to its evolution into the gallery scene. Respect, love and peace through art!

You should had told PBS that none of you do graffiti you just emulate it on permission walls.

I'd rather look at 100 yards of crude, teenage graffiti downtown that one more corporate ad plastered across a city street.

I'm a soul-crushing centrist, so I actually like a little of both. But it crushed my soul a little as a onetime Queens resident to see again to hear again the story of 5POINTZ.

I'm always amazed at how much they can control a spray paint can. That must take a certain amount of practice & dexterity. I used to airbrush clothing & that took some time to get the hang of. Anytime I tried airbrushing on a hard surface w/o stencils it was a mess.
