Just did my 05 dakota with 2" front and back. I did realize the increase in angle on the cv axles in advance. Because they were already pretty excessive stock. So i put a 2" diff drop kit in at the same time. Has my axles nice and pitched to diff decreasing the front driveshaft angles. The only difference in the ride is the way the wind hits the truck

Hey did you had to install a front deff drop kit too alont with the strut spacer?

Now I have remove the diff drop and cv are still binding with the 2 inch strut spacer.... idk what to do next, did you had any issue with your cv axel binding when you install the lift and if so please tell me how to fix.

I didn’t have any binding. Did you check the axle to see if it needs replacing? Check your ball joints. Are the wheels tilted in bad camber?

Did you ran into complications at the top of the strut nuts when installing them?
Eg, after putting on the spacers, mine were facing the opposite of the bolt holes and couldn't fit them in because of it.
    Any ideas?
    Much appreciated dude 👊

Going to be replacing pretty much my entire front end, my lower ball joints are shot but since I am going to down there replacing them anyway I figured I would just play it safe and replace everything. Although there is one thing I am missing, my Dakota does not have any CV Joints/CV Axles it looks like. The CV joint with that boot looking thing to the right of the strut my front end does not have. I find this weird or is that only for 4x4 trucks ? As my Dakota is a 4.7L RWD 2006

Hello, I am writing to you from Chile, could you tell me how many pounds per meter or the measure you use to know the tightening of the bolts as it corresponds so as not to damage the threads for the torque, correct, I am placing 3" on the front, greetings atte

I don’t remember off the top of my head. Search torque specs on google. There are results for shock struts there.

    • @joncastillo2714

We didn’t have to drop the differential for this leveling kit on the dodge Dakota. Just remove the Knuckle and the strut. Just like replacing the strut but adding a spacer

A 2001 Dodge Dakota 4×4 has torsion bars that can be cranked on to lift the front end up.by about 2 inches. You will need blocks.or.add a leaf kit to raise the rear.

I had some wheel well rubbing after i put on the larger tire. I shaved the wheel well with a grinder in the areas that rubbed. If you mean a sound like gears grinding then you may need to have a professional look at it. If it’s bouncing maybe your shock absorbers need replacing
