For such a small channel you have some extremely good quality. You are the only war thunder RUclipsr with less than 10k subs that doesn't use tts or sound absolutely depressed.
But I’m still streaming and growing day by day and he’s a dead channel. I’ll remember tht next breakdown too not be too depressed for you, or you go suck a horses bellend jackass
1:12 Soviet-derived doctrine revolves around being in Hulldown position & Low profile tanks they purposely put their magazine on the hull in carousel orientation to make the tanks even more lower to the ground
Nice Video m8 Not too long, not too short Perfect And not even a repeated joke like last video maby better clips that match the voice-overs Keep the work up
TURMS is fine at 9.7 the other two however… SU-25 needs a nerf to the survivability and rockets, and to go to 10.0. 2S38 should just straight up go to 11.3 AND lose it’s HE-VT shell. The fact that if you remove its IRST and it’s HE-VT and it’s still twice as good as the HSTV-L
I agree with other commenters. 10.3 for 2S38, Turms is fine where it’s at and frogfoot needs a survivability nerf. A-10 needs a survivability buff to compete with frogfoot.
High Explosive-Variable Time fuse shells do not, in fact, need to communicate with the targeting system to explode. A technology developed in WW2 (at the advent of air search radar, but not lasers), it was able to self detect a metal frame of aircraft. Radio waves, I believe. If you want shells that communicate with the targeting system, you have the PUMA and it's shrapnel shells. With those, you *must* laze the target first. As for shells not having enough spall with the APFSDS? (try playing the British) That's why you also bring along BR-281U APCBC shells, which have less pen (only a bit) and explosive filler. 60 APFSDS, about 20 APCBC and the rest as the HE-VT shells is what I typically bring. Like all russian tanks, they were made with the doctrine of fighting from the Fulda Gap in germany to the russian steppes- aka, flat ground. By having less gun depression, you have a lower profile, and less weight. Lack of depression was simply part of the design. In turn though, this thing has incredible mobility, requires good shot placement, has bullshit armor like the BMPs that can yoink survival from the grasp of defeat, excellent optics and thermals, the tracking radar is undetectable and can go out to *eight* kilometers... Plus, it is as fast as BMPs, which are as fast as T72s. You won't match some wheeled vehicles on roads, but it is not slow by any margin. The 2s38 is an absofuckinglutely broken monster, just like the BMP, the T72 Turms and object 279. It's strong individually, but combine with the many vehicles at the same BR? Well, it's not fun to fight, and most assuredly doesn't need a buff. Like any light tank/infantry fighting vehicle, you can't just expect to kill everything head on- just most. It's just a point and click, braindead armored fighting vehicle. If you want learning curve, try the Warrior/Bradley, which can't fire on the move with full firepower, larger profile, weaker armor, cramped, and slower.
I agree. Also nothing makes me more mad in this game than getting killed by this vehicle while I am in aircraft. This fucking thing without a radar, is a infintly better spaa than my lvkv90 which has a tracking radar.
I did not know that about the HE-VT rounds. Very interesting! I do feel like this thing is slow compared to some of the other vehicles. I’ll have to do a side by side comparison myself to really test that. The no radar locking ability has always been an interesting “feature” in the game. I think this vehicle is fine as is, but in my honest opinion it is probably severely under tiered. 10.3 would be a more appropriate “nerf”. A lot of good feedback in your comment! Thanks for your input!
@@SykoKilla Don't get me wrong, I have fun raging in it and it can be killed, but it could do with moving to 10.0-10.3, it's simply that strong. At this rank, if you can flank like a good light tank player, you can kill them no matter what vehicle or BR. The T72 Turms should also be 10.0, if only to save the poor 8.7 range vehicles. However, that would mean nerfing some of the most purchased premium bias vehicles in the game.
@@caboosehelpsu2840 gaijin won't nerf it also because of winrates, from what I see, and do correct me if I'm wrong, top tiers of russia struggle to go net positive unlike other nations, pretty sure there's a site that shows win rates of different nations, if this thing or others are uptiered it'll lower win rates even more effectively lowering win rates more. Atleast they changed the t80uk to 11.0, I don't own it but I remember seeing it downtiered alot. Edit: I own the full bias 9.7 prem loadout so I'd like to think I'm correct, insane that others didn't copy what I did, 2s38, t72av , su25 and bmp2m.
@@azder4140 It's what I'm using right now, plus the T80B because it's 10.0 Matchmaking lately. You're correct that you get a lot of less skilled players playing all the premiums- other nations I have loadouts exactly for killing russia 9.7. That said, a lot of the 9.7 vehicles wouldn't really be hurt to be moved up half a BR
It actually doesn't have any composite armor on the sides, its actually 5mm thick structural steel. It does not protect you from anything except maybe a couple .50 cal shots if you are lucky. It's a very versatile platform, but it's very weak. I would personally rate the survivability much lower than you did. Hull down, the crewless turret is nice, but you can still overpressure them with HEAT/HESH/HE by hitting them anywhere on the turret, even the barrel and optics. I don't get why so many people call this vehicle overpowered, especially after they increased the size of the shells in the damage model to their proper size. Most of the people who complain about it being overpowered are probably inexperienced. As you said, the low spalling makes it so you have to aim for individual crew members, giving enemies a lot of time to react.
T126 has -8 degrees gun depression, BTR ZD has -10, the T50 light tank has -7 as does the T60 The 2S38 has very little over the CV 9040s as they are very similar except they have far superior armour with all the Composite screens and a far higher rate of fire.
It's best spaa if you're a clueless pilot flying in a straight line, literally any sort of maneuvering, and the lead indicator won't be able to keep up
The "composite" sides isn't composite. It's for buoyancy when swimming.

Hope they change the BR of this fantasy vehicle, Su-25k and Turms to completely break apart Russias premium 9.7 lineup

shit should be like 10.3. Its same situation like z-19.
10.3 would be a very appropriate BR rating for this vehicle.
I hit one twice with a Leo 2k heat on the turret and ufp
Kinda sad he does not realize it’s more of a anti air platform than for fighting ground targets hence why all the crew for it are up front
I got killed by it in the weirdest way

Balls
Now they made 10.0 br and players know how to destroy this tank this tank should be again 9.7 br. 10.0 so boring .
Bro it's the best spaa in the game and it doesn't even have a radar. Russian bias
Russia makes the best armored vehicles in the world. - Gaijin

It was developed to be a SPAA in real world.
😅
Worst p2w ever lol
