Best chess channel, the other chess channels don't play and show at the same time which is the best way to learn. They just go through a bunch of random scenarios while you explain what the point of the opening is showing a real example
The problem with queen's gambit or any other gambit is we prepare repertoire that may or may not be happen. Coz we depend on the opponent take the gambit
Love how the first game went through a full endgame. Qc7 to stop the perpetual was a completely new idea. 1.d4 2.c4 is my main opening as white. I’d love to see more of these!
When you played Qd4 my spider sense said something was fishy there. I'm not calling you out, just amazed I sensed that move was off, been watching many of your videos and starting to recognize some of these patterns. You are a great teacher.
Omg my anxiety on that first game. 😅 Just found your channel and love your lessons. It helps me so much to get into the right mindset and to ask myself the right questions when playing. Thank you 😊
Alright everybody, managed to get another Alex video, let’s see what he has in store with rapid time controls. I cracked 800 in rapid and blitz thanks to your videos, you will always command my undivided attention
Amazing video!! How is this free.. So vs d5 and Nf6 taking is even better cause after Nx we have e4? Whats the plan vs Kings Indian and c5/benoni stuff?
@@AlexBanzea QG definitely good choice for a series of videos. I'm still going to be an e4 player but QG is a very interesting opening. Maybe I'll finally understand what the word positional means.
Draga Alex, datorita filmuletelor tale despre sah, am reusit in sfarsit sa-l bat pe un prieten bun de al meu, care are Elo 2200, iar eu abia 1400. A fost o experienta frumoasa.
I love playing against the queens gambit with the Slav. I almost never lose and sometimes I win. depending on what white does, you can just play a london type structure but as black.
4:24 this is literally the jobava london without c pawn for white and e pawn for black lmao. Waiting for the King's Indian Defense video, my biggest weaknesses are facing d4, c4, Nf3
No need to beat yourself up over the endgame. Time pressure is always an issue when trying to be instructive and you still explained the proper technique after the game.
What do you think about Slavs defense? London and Caro are my go to but not sure what to play against a queens pawn opening. Slav seemed similar to Caro but what do I know :)
More transpositions and often harder to equalize against. Downside (also maybe a benefit) is you have to learn many more pawn structures and openings, and you’ll play a lot of very different middlegames.
"Beth Harmon like..." Actually she only played the QG once, and her opponent replied with the Albin Counter Gambit. Maybe you can cover that variation at one point.
I spend all this time and money on relationship therapy when all I truly needed was Alex to tell me the woman was just trying to play G5 on me this whole time. Thank you!
wow i bought two courses and neither recommended the exchange what a waste i like this so much more specially that as a caro player i understand the plans of the middle game what a classic way to play i hope alex would consider a speed run for the qg or better a chessable course
Nothing could’ve prepared me for that fake taxi line
💀 😂
😂
I had to replay it I thought I misheard 😂
lol it was hilarious, i was like, is really saying that joke so serious?
I was dead last night when I first heard it
Please do a speedrun of Queens Gambit showing how you would react to other lines like qga, benoni, grunfeld etc
I second this
I third this
totally or better a chessable course
The longer time control was great! Allows us to hear a more full thought process into each phase of the game
Best chess channel, the other chess channels don't play and show at the same time which is the best way to learn. They just go through a bunch of random scenarios while you explain what the point of the opening is showing a real example
This is the best formatted chess video ive seen. Love the live games and the variations playing on the side is chefs kiss
QG is part of my main repertoire! Thank you so much for this Big Daddy Alex.
GG as well.
My favorite RUclips creator, always super happy when you drop a new video, Alex.
I'll be the happiest when your channel blows up and gets the recognition it deserves. Love from India 🇮🇳
Please do more queen’s gambit videos! This video was amazing!
Love this tipe of games. I also prefer the 10 mins games instead of 5, because you can explain your ideas deeper and try to be as precise as posible.
ty so much for mainly using the openings I use lol, goated presentations and you take your time speaking of each move the opponent makes. ty ty ty
Great upload king, always happy to watch your instructive stuff.
Loved your videos on Caro Kann. Hope to see more of Queen’s gambit.
Wow. Thanks a lot Alex, I'm grateful for this vid. Another repertoire collection for white.
The problem with queen's gambit or any other gambit is we prepare repertoire that may or may not be happen. Coz we depend on the opponent take the gambit
it was really intersting to follow a slow game quite equal and see the conversion ! Definitely adding this to my repertory
Thanks, Alex! Been waiting for it for a long time❤
now we are talking!! Alex please make up a follow video of Queen's Gambit
I just discovered your channel and really learned a lot from this video. Keep it up!
Finally! Been waiting for a new QG Alex video! Great timing!
Love how the first game went through a full endgame. Qc7 to stop the perpetual was a completely new idea.
1.d4 2.c4 is my main opening as white. I’d love to see more of these!
Thank You for sharing your knowledge! When a teacher shares their own growth, every student is nourished.
Banzea is the KING of chess analogies.
@2:11 the beginner trap in the QGA, not that it will help him much, but Black CAN save his rook with 6...Nc6 7.Qxc6+ Bd7
When you played Qd4 my spider sense said something was fishy there. I'm not calling you out, just amazed I sensed that move was off, been watching many of your videos and starting to recognize some of these patterns. You are a great teacher.
love your rating climbs playing jobava and caro kann they have been so helpful thank you!
Thank you very much! Quenns Gambit Variations would be very interesting and more about the Scotch Gambit too.
Omg my anxiety on that first game. 😅
Just found your channel and love your lessons. It helps me so much to get into the right mindset and to ask myself the right questions when playing. Thank you 😊

I cracked 800 in rapid and blitz thanks to your videos, you will always command my undivided attention
The Queen's gambit got me into openings, love that you're covering it
we voted for this
More of these please, it's great!
Amazing video!! How is this free..
So vs d5 and Nf6 taking is even better cause after Nx we have e4?
Whats the plan vs Kings Indian and c5/benoni stuff?
this channel is the gentleman's nr 1 choice
Great, thank you and have a nice day, Alex!
Fake taxi 😂😂😂😂
Actually fucking hilarious
I can see a resemblance between the QG and the Botvinnik-Carls. QG is an interesting opening from both sides.
It’s mainly transposing to exchange tho
@@AlexBanzea QG definitely good choice for a series of videos. I'm still going to be an e4 player but QG is a very interesting opening. Maybe I'll finally understand what the word positional means.

This video has great chess tips.
That guy got some nerve explaining things while being only one second left to lose, and he still won that game. Fantastic👍🏻
U are my favorite RUclipsr i watched all of ur videos.❤❤
this or jobava london would you recommend? and how can i turn it into catalan if he doesnt capture?
Personally I recommend jobava London. Catalan was 3.Nf3 followed by g3
Damn, the first endgame looked so hard to me. It really shows the difference between a master and common players
I love playing against the queens gambit with the Slav. I almost never lose and sometimes I win. depending on what white does, you can just play a london type structure but as black.
The first opponent put up one hell of a fight
Another banger from Alex!
Mom, Alex just started teaching a new opening
King's Indian defense and KIA coach I've really missed ur recent video about kings indian opening
4:24 this is literally the jobava london without c pawn for white and e pawn for black lmao. Waiting for the King's Indian Defense video, my biggest weaknesses are facing d4, c4, Nf3
Alex can't help himself ;)
WOW FINALLY YOU PLAY MY REPERTOIRE
btw my other main repertoire is jobava london xD
the amount of sarcasm in this video is amazing xD
Do the Italian opening!
Going from dopamine fueled opening of Jobava to this is is like coming home from a nice vacation and going back to work 😂
That being said, if I were to defend humanity vs aliens I guess this opening is the way to go.
Lol
Hey man, sometimes You must flaunt Your "superiority". Nice vid, thnx.@@AlexBanzea
You just prove your point, arguement is over, everybody is certainly not happy. You got a lot to learn about women Alex..
I am very happy doing what weird Romainian dood tells me to do! Also like how this is so similar to the Karo... QG rating climb???
Thank you so much ❤
No need to beat yourself up over the endgame. Time pressure is always an issue when trying to be instructive and you still explained the proper technique after the game.
What do you think about Slavs defense? London and Caro are my go to but not sure what to play against a queens pawn opening. Slav seemed similar to Caro but what do I know :)
Slav easier to play for us Caro players
Hey, you switch it up! Think this was needed.!
On the slav, your queen infiltration could have been defended with his queen on d7 ?
d5 pawn was hanging too
Right... I shouldn't post (and play😅) so late
i was stuck on 1200 forever but after watching your jobava, i am finally 1300
I would love to see the Sicilian (Dragon?) opening if you are taking recommendations.
loved the Fake Taxi reference lol
nice video alex, we also need QGD from black side
btw alex, thank you for more 1500 elo content, its very helpful for me :)
Will this be a series similar to the karo and Vienna openings?
Queen's Gambit, yay!
Whats the advantage of Queens Gambit over London?
More transpositions and often harder to equalize against.
Downside (also maybe a benefit) is you have to learn many more pawn structures and openings, and you’ll play a lot of very different middlegames.
Fascinating seeing QG games! I only play QG as black!
now we are talking!! Alex please make up a follow video Queen's Gambit
great stuff, i play this but switched to jobava cus of you. good stuff anyway. can you make a video of your games with levy?
2:20 🤣🤣 fake taxi line
A man of culture I see
At 40:10 he says the "Armenian guy told you to do so." Is he Armenian?
Are we heading towards a new speedrun series on queens gambit ...its coming
What's fake taxi? I'm not familiar
"Beth Harmon like..." Actually she only played the QG once, and her opponent replied with the Albin Counter Gambit. Maybe you can cover that variation at one point.
Alex is here
I am here
I am Happy, algorithm is happy
Thats a good day😂
Another great lesson from “The Weird Romanian Guy”. 😂
I spend all this time and money on relationship therapy when all I truly needed was Alex to tell me the woman was just trying to play G5 on me this whole time. Thank you!
What taxi again?
excellent keep going bro
wow i bought two courses and neither recommended the exchange what a waste i like this so much more specially that as a caro player i understand the plans of the middle game what a classic way to play i hope alex would consider a speed run for the qg or better a chessable course
Hello, casual 700 here, I cant believe the first video started queens gambit, then ended up literally being caro for black, london for white
Pyrocynical??
Good video. Minority attack in the QGD.
King's indian defense please!
I am excited for more QG videos,
Request for this but for Jobava
Alex loves to take.....and talk. Hilarious man and good at chess!!
MORE MORE MORE! Give us at least 69 videos on QG :D
great video
do you still do lessons?
Still coach a bit on the side, yeah!
where would i need to go for that?@@AlexBanzea
alexbanzea2000@gmail.com@@nolanholcomb6797
99% win rate with an extra pawn... Currently has 2 extra pawns... hold my beer.
i enjoyed this video
Kings Gambit: Queens pawn variation.
Fixation
an obsessive interest in or feeling about someone or something.
"our fixation with diet and fitness"
You gotta do a kings gambit , if you consider the vienna gambit reasonable than the kings gambit is that but with Balls! Also F the F pawn .
Fake taxi line is crazy 😭
"Just like fake taxi it is not a real taxi"
Bruh
ma bucur ca joci la 10 minute adica timp mai mult pt mine sa inteleg...
