As per my understanding, I want to share how to plot a rational numbers on number line:-
1. If Numinator less than Denominator (N < D).
a) number lies between 0 & 1
b) use Denominator to split into equal parts.
c) use Numinator to count of parts.
2. If Numinator is greater than Denominator:-
a) convert it to mixed number or mixed fraction.
b) number lies between the whole number and the next whole number.
c) use Denominator of fraction to split into equal parts.
d) use Numinator of fraction to count of parts.
