Red onion is a must-have staple in your scalp/haircare regimen! Red onion is a storehouse of sulphur and is rich in anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Hence, it has been used to strengthen hair and provides all the nutrients needed for healthy hair growth!
In this video I chopped up 1 medium sized organic red onion and added about 16oz of water to it. I then blended, strained and added the solution to my nozzle bottle.
I recommend to place the solution on your roots/scalp, massage for 30 minutes and avoid getting into your eyes. Focus mostly on the Scalp! and use this treatment every 2 weeks. (This is how often I applied this treatment when growing out my hair)
After the 30 minutes have passed, rinse the solution off with diluted ACV and then follow up with your shampoo of choice.
Remember to always do a patch test on your wrist to assure there are no allergies to the onion. Red onion is pretty intense and can definitely burn if it gets in the eyes or if left too long on skin or if it is not diluted properly,
I will post the full video soon!

That's an ancient indian solution for hair fall. we are using it for decades

What is the ancient solution
Onion water
One of the only treatments that I can say worked on regrowing my thin patches but I wasn’t consistent
Just indian mom tips 😊❤
Garlic and rosemary too

Am using white onion and it's working too
Yes white is good too!! That’s so great💕
Have you tried using aloe vera juice with onions instead of water? If yes, what were your results like? Did you notice more hair growth and thicker hair? How often did you use the mixture to get your results?
When I made mine I would use aloe and water because otherwise it made my scalp itch like crazy
My grandmon uses to this once a week 30 years ago
Yes it is very good for scalp health💕
During my 90-day hair growth journey, I did yoga and exercises, massaged my scalp using oil three times a week, shampooed once a week, and applied llitllextra reactivate hair growth serum. The outcome, my hair growth increased without any breakage.
Excellent 💕
Mix red and yellow onions together
Sure great suggestion - thanks
Omg I need some seborrheic derm tips! I use Sulfur right now and it works best compared to everything else I've tried! Good to know!
Yes! Will make longer video on it♥️
I'm nine months late, but have you cured your seborrheic dermatitis? I assume it's in your scalp? I used Medicated T-Gel shampoo for nine to ten months, avoiding all hair products, because of my scalp inflammation. T-Gel completely healed my scalp from the inside out.
@christinamartinez8132 no it's not cured. I used to use tgel but it's too drying 4 my hair so I had to switch 2 something else! I wish I could do this! But my hair would break off avoiding all hair products ☹️. Would b great to get rid of it!
I created something that controls it but I’m not sure if it can be completely cured unless the underlying is addressed (which may be diet etc)
I used to have seb really really bad but now it has greatly reduced, not cured.
I’ll post a video on what I use
@@tialynn1111 Yes, T-Gel Medicated shampoo dried my scalp and hair, mostly my scalp. The healing stage took nearly a year's time. Green infected looking puss would ooze out of my scalp, and my scalp would sting so bad. Before T-Gel, I saw a dermatologist, which never helped me at all. I took a few different oral medications and the last one was a liquid medicine, and it tasted absolutely terrible.
Thanks for the vedio, it's helps lot🙏

@@tialynn1111 Thank you!
hello, how to conserve the mixture please
Hi you can freeze it or just make small batches
Can onion make our hair thicker or not????
Yes, onion juice is believed to promote hair growth and thickness. Onion juice is rich in sulfur, which is an essential nutrient for healthy hair. Sulfur helps to boost collagen production, which in turn helps the production of healthy skin cells and hair growth. Here are some potential benefits of using onion juice for hair:
1. **Improves Hair Growth**: Onion juice can stimulate hair follicles, increasing hair growth and volume.
2. **Reduces Hair Fall**: The sulfur content in onion juice helps strengthen the hair, reducing hair fall and breakage.
3. **Treats Dandruff**: Onion juice has antimicrobial properties that help fight dandruff and scalp infections.
4. **Adds Shine**: Regular use of onion juice can add a healthy shine to your hair.
5. **Prevents Thinning**: The nutrients in onion juice help nourish the hair, preventing thinning and breakage.
To use onion juice for hair growth:
1. Extract the juice from an onion by blending it and straining the juice.
2. Apply the juice directly to your scalp, massaging it in gently.
3. Leave it on for 15-30 minutes.
4. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
It's important to do a patch test before applying onion juice to your scalp to ensure you don't have an allergic reaction.
Can we use rice water instead of normal water.
Yes
Just make sure you test it first and that you’re not allergic
Perfect to drink as well for post menopause women

What does it help with exactly?
Hey, for how long can I keep this mixture if not stored in the refrigerator
No, you must refrigerate.
When refrigerated, it is only good for 3-4 days since it lacks a preservative.

Sure it ll regrow the lost hair?
Hi Subhankarjena,
Onion juice is believed to have certain properties that may promote hair growth, primarily due to its high sulfur content and potential to improve blood circulation. Some studies suggest that applying onion juice to the scalp could help stimulate hair follicles and promote hair regrowth in certain types of hair loss, such as alopecia areata.
However, it's essential to note that while there is some anecdotal evidence and limited scientific support for onion juice's potential benefits for hair growth, more research is needed to confirm its effectiveness and understand the optimal method of use. Additionally, individual results may vary, and it's always advisable to consult with a healthcare professional before trying any new treatments for hair loss.
I thought yellow onions had more sulfur!
You can use whichever you choose
They are all effective
Normal onion is good too
Yes onions in general are excellent due to the sulfur content. Actually the ‘Yellow’ onion has a bit more sulfur, but red is very effective as well. Use what is best for you.
RED SHALLOTS

Make sure you’re not allergic and do a patch test before applying onion juice to scalp💕
Don’t put it off n your hair. Eat it or make a tea.
Yes you can do this too. Whichever works best for you
How many days I can store it?
Only 3-4 days refrigerated since there’s no preservative in this mix.
Hi can my husband use it for hes face for hes beard???
To actually grow a beard? Or to make it thicker?

@@clishainrocker9969 ok i understand but if no hair ever grew in those patches, im not sure onion will revive those follicles…

Hi dear I'm an engineer I'm facing this type of hairfall issue i think it is better ..? For hair growth or can I use it derma roller please give a suggestion
Hi thank you for watching. The logic behind the derma roller is:
increase blood circulation through scalp stimulation = increased blood flow to follicles, which increases hair growth. However, this can be accomplished through consistent massage after the onion application.
According to MedicalNewsToday:
‘Researchers found that hair growth started after 2 weeks of using onion juice, which was applied to the scalp twice daily. Almost 74 percent of participants had some hair regrowth after 4 weeks, and at 6 weeks about 87 percent experienced hair regrowth.’
This article suggests using onion juice twice daily, however, I suggest using every 2 weeks at the most, due to its potency. Do what works best for you, and please do a patch test to assure it is not irritating to your skin first.
I believe the onion juice + massage, good diet, quality sleep and health is the better option in my opinion. I hope this helps🤍

I want to get back my receding hairline mam plz help me
Hi Asad
Let me research because I am not sure if onion can grow back receding hairline. Hair follicle must still be active. I will have to get back to you on this
Using onion juice as a remedy for receding hairlines or hair loss is a topic with mixed opinions and limited scientific backing. Some proponents believe that the sulfur in onion juice helps with hair growth by nourishing hair follicles and improving blood circulation. However, there's limited scientific evidence to support these claims robustly.
In a small study, it was found that applying onion juice to the scalp might help with alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition causing patches of hair loss. However, this doesn't necessarily mean it's effective for a receding hairline, which is often due to genetics or hormonal factors.
It's important to approach this remedy with caution, as onion juice can also cause irritation or allergic reactions in some individuals. If you're considering using onion juice for hair growth, it might be wise to consult with a dermatologist or a healthcare professional first. They can provide advice tailored to your specific situation and suggest proven treatments for hair loss.

There is no scientific evidence to suggest that onions increase testosterone levels. Testosterone is primarily regulated by various factors such as genetics, age, and overall health.
