There is this unspoken rule in the NBA, once you go the bench as a star or decent role player, you will never recover from it, both in prestige and money. All you will end up getting is minimum contracts and same bench role until you retire. Happened to Carmelo, Wall, Rose, Isaiah, Ibaka, Drummond, Whiteside, Dwight, e.t.c. That's why Carmelo said it then he was reluctant to go to the bench, if he did, his career was over, sure was.
@@serkanarslan885 Yes! I excluded rookies who are in rookie scale max contacts since teams are capped on what they can offer limiting their ability to put a value on salary.
Any organization that is willing to pay Ben Simmons anything to play for their team is crazy. That guy should be playing for free. That tomato can isn't even worth a nickel.
Some of the "overpaid" players are defensive specialists such as Smart, Anunoby and McDaniels - value doesnt always show in such simple stats as you post on here - B. Simmons and Beal are by far the worst.
Have Ben Simmons man the beer stand to somehow help pay that $40m. Bradley Beal should do some laundry too. How can some teams pay $2M and have guys play 15 minutes for 60 games? Those Boston white boys played in the playoffs finals!
Do you think multi-year contract with less than 10M per year should be allowed?

Yes, I couldn't remember an all star taking a bench role in another team or same team then got bigger role or contracts🤔
Where is the most underrated one Alperen Sengun!!

Ben Simmons makes $40 million
His agent is illuminati
It's weird to see that there are people on this planet who are considered underpaid making more than 10 million a year
@@ernokirnyan9984 Yes, it's also unfortunate that more than half of the players lose that fortune before their advanced age.

@@pablotskefar2047 I agree and most of them are champs like Draymond, KCP and Bruce Brown!
