Different fire station sometimes will have more and sometime will have less and is actually depends on the environment where the fire station boundaries is covering the area like territories. Most places in Singapore nowadays have more elderly people staying at one area then before. Therefore they will need more ambulance in the station. Like wise, if the fire station covering wide boundary area definitely will have more ambulance like minimum of at least 7 to a maximum of 13 ambulance. There is two of the fire station doesn't needs ambulances at all. But mostly what he video down have ambulance in all the station that he caught.
Sometimes the fire station will have to do some calibration for the PA system. The contractor will come and fix to the server and inform Ops center to do some testing for the PA announcement system. Same time the watch room will inform officers not to be alert as they are testing the PA system to make sure it runs smoothly becoz each fire station is already 70 years old to 10 years old buildings. That is why they have contractors fixing the fire station every weekdays. Actually it is suppose to sound like. Fire dispatch: STN 33, Turnout, PL331, PL332, LF331, LF332, CP331, Fire Large, Sengkang East Ave 2. This is the proper turnout call for each fire station that has to be read out this way. Be it ambulance call or Fire call. So that is also one reason behind it without the call sign being call out.
